Theres another way to get Daedric graves... it may be tricky if u dont know how to get them but yea...in the dren plantation i think in the manor/biggest house up stairs there are Daedric greaves sitting on a shelf watch out tho 2 ppl are watching...if u call me dumb im not there is the guy right next to the shelf and some1 invisable...the hints are ovbious 1 u hear foot steps near him/in that room 2 he says "i feel like some1 is watching me i can fell it" =)

I've go a similarly silly weapon....Whippy Thing.... A fishing pole that has been enchanted in the editor to do a shed-load of damage and soultrap.:laugh::laugh:

I've never finished, largely because I wander around. I'm currently around L50 and only 1/2 way thru-LOL...or is that [rolleyes] Must say, though, I'm determined to finish this time. BTW, did you do Bloodmoon at that low level?

So many have an affinity for Daedric armor, which is somewhat limiting in that it's hella heavy.

I run around in Cuirass of Savior's Hide. I forget how/where I got it (I bet someone else here can tell you how), bit it's Light armor and gives a 60% resist magica, constant effect. Its armor rating is 228.
Now, I don't have to put so much enchantment into boosting my strength just to carry my armor (well, I boost it anyway), and I can carry so many other items it's silly, and likely a bit of a waste, to be honest. If I go out and do some serious exploring of the countryside and shrines, I don't have to drop items or return to a city, etc. I've got an arsenal of weapons for different occasions, and even a different set of enchanted armor (high in speechcraft, personality, and luck boosts) for shopping in the cities.

I also have Helm of Oreyn Bearclaw (+40 agility and endurance, CE), from the Malacath Shrine quest, which may be the best enchanted item I've come across so far.

The Fists of Randagulf Gauntlets (R/L +20 Str/Agil) are good, too. I have those backed up w/ daedric gauntlets, with different enchantments for more versatility.

The rest of my armor is glass, though finding the glass tower shield was sweet, since it will take a CE enchantment(I've got 9 pts block).

But you may want to consider what dragon wench says--if you run around collecting everything you can, you'll likely end up like my characters, which have ended up overpowered (even set at 100 DL), and I lost interest in finishing the game.

ive beaten the game, so i killed the guy in tel fry (along with MANY other important characters) but i use full ebony with scourge and umbra, its a wonderful combo although im lvl 35 so anythings even a challenge anymore...if u dont know scurge is a deadric mace with summon scamp/ dremora for 30 seconds each also gotten from killing/ robing the dude in tel fry..

Well, like I said, I did ensure I had fully loaded multipliers every time I levelled, so that "level 15" was actually pretty complete
Er, lol! .. Bloodmoon and Tribunal are actually quite challenging, so I did gain levels before heading to the expansions.
However... in comparison to a lot of other games I've played, Morrowind is pretty easy, so I'm just used to a harder level. If my computer was better I would use more difficulty enhancing mods.. but alas.. I need to wait a bit for that.

Somewhat more on topic though, I can't reiterate enough that it is much better to avoid picking up every powerful piece of equipment possible prior to defeating Ur. One, it's more satisfying from a role playing experience ,to get on with the urgent task at hand, and secondly, if you can reflect, absorb and resist anything Uncle Dagoth throws at you, I honestly find it really anti-climactic...

I played thru Morrowind and the exps. many times and I still keep myself to the Sunder. You'll get it if you follow the story, so there is no point in telling how you will acquire that. Anyway, it depends on what character you play, I'm mostly a barbarian/assassin play. Well, either this or that.

Axe: get a daedric axe and enchant it with some magical damage and soultrap
Blunt: Sunder
Long Blade: probably the Umbra Sword is the best choice, if you can beat him
Short Blade: I usually use the Keening, but an enchanted Daedric Wakizashi or Daedric Short Sword would do more damage
Spear: you'll come across a Dwemer one in the first Dwemer dungeon, but I can't recall its name now.....or was it in a later mission.....haven't played the game in a while :laugh:
Marksman: Daedric Bow, with enchanted arrows (if you have the official mods installed)

I'm on the same opionion as Dragon Wench, I don't like fiddling with magical armor and stuff, its better to struggle a bit in a simple orcish armor.
Don't ask what a mage should do against Dagoth Ur, cuz being a mage is further from me than Hungary from China. :laugh:

For weapons, I'd suggest pulling together a bundle of cash, and learning a few very nice spells that create the effects you want. Then simply ask an enchanter to do the work for you. They never fail, though the price will be steep, so you always get what you paid for. Spellwise, fire is a classic, but always get a fire shield spell in there, too, on the same weapon. You don't want some creature's innate Reflect ability bouncing that thing back at you.

You're thinking of Damage Health, I think.

And I would recommend combining damage/absorb health with elemental damage, to ensure creatures with resistances to specific magic can still get damaged.

Agreed--if you can afford this. Even a bit of Damage Health and a lot of a given element will still do some damage, regardless of resistance. It simply bypasses resistances. Very powerful.

Damage health is rather expensive, but Drain health isn't. Spoiler

The problem with Drain Health is that it's too powerful. It's dirt cheap to either make a spell or enchant ant item with magnitude 100 for 1 second. Sure if the target survives the hit they get the health back immediately, but most creatures wont, survive that is. At lower levels even Drain Health mag. 60 for 1 second kills most monsters. I tend to think of it as Morrowind's equivalent of Phantasmal Killer, and name my spells of the Drain Health ilk accordingly.

It works the same in Oblivion by the way, and is a real game killer, which is why I don't normally use it.
