I'm trying to make it as close to the Baldur's Gate games as I can as far as spells go but that seems to be easier said than done lol. Cure poison and disease will definately be on the list though, as well as heal companion. I'm also going to have levitation (I'll justify it as controlling the air) and things like water breathing/walking (again I can just say my druid is controlling the water etc.). Still trying to decide whether to have an open spell or not. I'm definately going to have paralyse though as thats like a hold spell, and I'll probably have hide just cos I like that spell, although I may go for chameleon instead as then its just like blending in to the surroundings. I'll definately have the two intervention spells too as they make sense, and I will no doubt take mark/recall just to make life easier. (although I might just enchant amulets with that or see if I can find amulets with it). Troll strength will probably be a good idea too.
Druid build - any advice/ideas?
I had a similar spell with my sorceress - fire, frost, shock and poison damage all at once
I'm going to try and resist making spells that are too powerful as I want to balance it out between spells and melee like druids in Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale. Its a pity there is no way to make an entangle spell. I might make a powerful poison spell, or an element combo spell though and have it as the equivalent of harm (although maybe drain health might be more appropriate for that - I can't decide). Bound mace will do as the equivalent of the druid weapon summoning spells.

I am toying with the idea of doing a complete reinstall and creating a ranger type of class. I found the following mods that look useful for both rangers and druids, so I decided to post them here:
Knights of the Wild
Morrowind Creatures
Ranger Tent
Animal Summoning Mod (only animals)
I also have a question. There are definitely mods geared to rangers and druids in terms of equipment, creatures, summoning, homes etc.
But are there any quest or faction mods that would fit well into a wilderness-oriented character build?
As far as those already in the game... maybe the fighter and temple/cult oriented factions will work.. at a stretch... but after that?????

I believe the Freelancer mod was conceived with a ranger in mind, in the sense of not tying themselves down to a particular guild etc.
THere is the Blight Bounties mod that makes it so the Temple reward you for killing blighted creatures, and there is The WAy of the Hunter that makes it more profitable to live as a hunter. Not quest related I'm afraid but you seem to be ahead of the game.
I saw one mod (sorry can't remember the name) that had druid quests but the reviews were not too good and they said it caused bugs so I didn't try it. I'm not sure about ranger mods though.
It doesn't have to be mods that are specifically geared to rangers and druids
Basically, I'm looking for quest mods that just lend themselves well to this sort of a class. If that makes any sense at all?
btw, I don't know if it is any use to you at this point, but I also found these pages with some good stuff:
