Pretty much. Even without stealing a thing, most of my parties never lacked for plenty of cash except in the first few chapters. And there's something nice and challenging about beating those chapter two dragons without cheese. :D

One of the drow merchants will happily sell you potions of thievery and dexterity. Very useful aid when stealing an unlimited number of Harbinger +3 2h swords that the merchant next to him has. :D They can be sold for 3000 each.

3rd time lucky, huh? ;)

If you have over 100% resistance to something (eg fire, cold, etc) and you get hit by that type of attack then you get healed by it. Very useful, as using the right items Fire resistance can easily be made to reach over 100%, and there are some traps in the game that deal out constant fire damage.

Even if you do - always identify an item before equiping it, so you can enjoy the bonuses it grants.

Except when you've encountered plenty of them and already know what it is, and you're sure you will not use it.

But, as for the bonusses and abilities, you're right Alson

As for the Resists thing...

Once your fire res is over 100% have your mage cast an incendeiry cloud for you to play in

Ranged weapons without ammo are the best if only just to free up inventory space. It's nice to have at least one person who can use each of the three types of ammo. Right now I have firetooth +4 but can't get jan in my party so it does nothing while I'm constantly trying to put more enchanted arrows in my ammo belt.

I don´t believe it! A thread where userunfriendly gets a chance to pull all of his cheese out of the sleeve, and he´s not even here!!

Some of my favs:
- Wait til a lich has cast mislead before you kill it. Double xp!
- Maze target, set traps, wait!
- Don´t bring Nalia.
- Put item with no charges left in bag of holding to recharge.
:D

That actually works that should be so illegal.

How about using mordakien's(sp) swords to deal with mind flayers they're immune to anything in the illithid lair.

Spell immunity: abjuration for fighting kangaxx then just slowly work him down with the sling of everard +5.

If you start a dwarven fighter in Baldur's gate you can pick up 1 con for 20. Then you can wield the axe of the unyielding +5, the ring of gaxx and a ring of regeneration to pick up hit points very quickly. I'm guessing it would be a little better with 22 after lum. if you were evil from the hells that would be 24. 24 con also buys a bonus of 63 hit points. Don't know how fast it would regenerate. I thought the axe, 20 and the two rings pretty good.

I had a barbarian dual wield and used the Ring of Gaxx, Blackrazor, and Axe of Unyielding. These 3 items mean you are regenerating 2hps every 3 seconds and 1 every 5. I apply my little equation and it comes out to be every second or so.

My barbarian never died and was a monster without all the regenerating. I also didnt include the 15% or so chance of drainging levels, gaining strength and healing 20 HP with blackrazor, but you can be sure my strength was 25 most of the time ^_^

jaesha...i have been playing sola and kelcy...i am with tashia, as that mod is always fun...

WES IS EVIL!!!!!

he nerfed project image, set more than 7 traps in area....

still judicious use of the 7 spike traps immie could set did enough to kill the dragon and sword......improved irenicus...

i summoned using images with improved acuity 8 evil planetars....

also, even though my helm of brilliance recharged if i stuck in bag of holding, HIS items dont recharge....

but i got him....

if you install sola, you can get 3 greenstone amulets in game, his encounters give you two, and in beholder dungeon,.....his two amulets make you immune to psionics, charm and stun!!!!

i gave one to kelcy and one to tashia, and even though i saw domination icons on kelcy, he was fine...

after i finish this new sola game, i will post a new thread...

"cheesing sola on core..."

a special look at all the anti cheese things in sola, and how to cheese despite them....giggle...

@User: You like Tashia? I think she was just about as boring as an NPC could get. I like Sola way better. Haven´t met Kelsey yet, though I did install him. (I´m playing snes roms at the moment, so...)
