I like "Hijack This." It's an excellent programme. Only problem is, I don't think I'm tech savvy enough to use it....
If anybody knows of any good sites out there, though, that offer straightforward information on interpretting the programme's results I'd be much obliged.
A quick google brings upo this site...

The best freeware, and the one I use most would be
SPM, Statistical Parametric Mapping, a very advanced software for analysis of brain images.
http://www.fil.ion.ucl.ac.uk/spm/
Other than that, I also use HBA (human brain atlas), MRicro, PVeout, Autoroi, Braintools, Skullstripper and other software developed by different brain imaging labs worldwide. The nice thing with software development in the academic world is that it's almost always free to use since the idea is that everybody gain from sharing knowledge and using the same or similar, analysis tools.
Ok, this is very uninteresting for all of you since you have absolutely no use for software which makes neat little compartments of images of brain volumes, so I will also mention some other software I use a lot:
Total Commander
Eudora Light
Firefox
Opera
Adobe acrobat reader
Winamp
Quicktime
Realplayer
IrfanView

If you're talking about Bootskin, can't forget about Uxtheme.dll patchers... if they count

.
Much cleaner and more efficient than apps like StyleXP or Windowblinds.

Is there any good unzip program for free?
I can find a few which unzip zip files, but I also need to unzip .lhz files. Also, I sometimes want to unzip several files in one go (like, when I downloaded files for the SIM).
Secondly, I am looking for a good email program which can read Japanese to replace Outlook. I know this is a long shot in this mostly European language speaking (or American) forum, still I take the opportunity.
My own recommendations are
Real Player
Acrobat Reader
Opera
Firefox
AdAware
err, what else?
For my homepage, I use some of good Japanese programs such as;
ez-HTML and Tera-Pad (both editors, can deal with CGI, and no fuss. I type tags myself, and found them easier than Dreamweaver)
FFFTP (the best ftp available, which also has English version, if you are interested)
Pixia (graphic soft. I only use them for creating banner and such, so this is good enough)

I use Zip Genius. It's totally free, very simple to use, and opens most compressed files.
