I stumbled onto a post mentioning the comic recently and checked it out, I really happen to like it. The only bad thing I can say about it, is, well, after scrolling through it, it seemed to end far too abrubtly. I read through the whole thing, and wanted more. So, yes, I'd have to say I'll vote for it when I find time to go through it. I'll be sure to mention it to more of my friends who I think would find it interesting too.

It hasn't ended ;) A new issue is available for mass consumption every Friday. Or Saturday if Kayless is drunk on Friday :p

Well, I voted on BOTH polls... so if DCI makes it into the Top Ten, does that mean I might get a prize?

*gets on his knees and prays to Moradin for more pics of various crossbreed children of Durngrim, or for the frogman's proposal to bring the secret weapon^ into future operation*

Note: ^ = Kayless knows what I'm talking about. ;)

It looks like DCI has already moved up in ranks in both Buzz and TWC thanks to Fable's 'Get Out The Vote' drive. I wonder if Kayless could put the icon that shows the comic's rank on his homepage as other comics do?

I love DC!!!

DC Rules all!

I'll vote this instant...

Considering there are roughly 1000 votes per day for DCI (that's what the number in the out column means, right?, isn't thinking that the small community that is GB has impacted DCI's standing wishful thinking? :)

100 votes a day? I honestly find that hard to believe. I doubt many comics have 1000 readers in a day. Kayless, what does that number mean?

I had wondered about that as well....

I meant as in, what was already produced and on the site, I read through, and therefore what was available to read had in fact ended. Whether or not more is coming out, until more IS on the site and I can read it, when I got to the last updated page my reading enjoyment ended.

I never knew you actually made a comic of your own @Kayless, I only knew about your forum. However, now I have read all the episodes from #1 to the latest issue, and I must say they are quite funny. You've made a good job :)
Personally I miss the ease that came with doing a sprite comic. I could get a dozen sprite issues done in the time it takes to do just one hand-drawn issue. :o The procrastinator in me finds that very appealing. However, sprites have their downsides too, mainly with facial expressions, or lack thereof. Observe:
I certainly prefer the hand drawn comic, and I also think you are a very good drawer. Facial expression, posture and backgrounds all add to a richer comic, and it's obvious that you put a lot of work into every single frame.

Keep the good work up, I have voted for your comic and I will continue to read it from now on. This you should take as a compliment since I usually don't read comics because I find them boring. IMO the quality of your work is better than many professional comic drawers I've seen. :)
Sure thing! :D Naked pictures of the cast coming up! I'll PM them at random, so you never know if you'll get Teagan, Beatrice, or maybe Durnkrag or the Archdruid.
Mmmmm! The Archdruid! :p

Actually, most comics don't happen to hold my attention. This one does. I just end up bored, and decide to read through it, get caught up in reading and suddenly, just all done. I can't say any other comic I've read has given me a reaction of feeling irritated there simply wasn't more of it you know? Generally it either ends up you don't really care, or you simply think, oh well, next week. Not being irritated you have to wait UNTIL next week. I'd have to say it's a better comic than most I've been shown. I've got a friend who's mutual friend owns a tattoo shop that sells comics, and he's constantly showing me all of them. Simply never interested me, but this one does.

Hey, is Kayless only looking to only get in the Top 10 in Topwebcomics or in the other rating site as well? Right now, DCI is in the #14 spot on Topwebcomics, so that would make me guess the former.

I'm not getting a thousand votes a day, that's for sure. DCI would be at the top of every list if it was.

"In" is how many votes the site currently has. "Out" is how many people clicked on the site's link while looking at the Top 100 list. Out means better traffic, but not necessarily people voting for the comic (they just got lured into checking the site out).

You never knew about the comic? I thought everybody knew about it.

I'm glad you're enjoying it. My art has improved quite a bit over the time since I've started drawing issues. Looking back on some of my early artwork is rather painful for me now. :o
Hey kayless when i make my debut(again?) can i be a stick person?
You really want to be a stick person and not a little rat dog wearing a wizard's hat while doing obscene things to Mexican food? Weird. :D
I, for one, like the non-sprite full-of-facial-expressions characters.
However I have to admit to only voting about once a week, when I check for a new comic. Twice a week at most, if there is no issue on Friday so I have to check back on Saturday
Ha ha! There is method to my occasional tardiness. A late issue means more votes. :D
Still haven't forgiven him for making fun of my name in one of the early episodes *grrrrr* (: D)
Come on, any publicity is good publicity. ;)

Where has it been? In my head along with dreams of one day becoming Spider-Man. Seriously, I'm happy you like the comic. Just hang in there until Friday for more dungeon crawling wackiness.

Wow, I'm glad you find Dungeon Crawl Inc. interesting enough to be irritated with it between issues. :) I'd do more than one issue a week if I could, but it's hard enough getting just one done on time. Maybe I should hire a staff to help me out?

I don't have a prayer of getting onto Buzz Comic's Top Ten (despite the fact that DCI typically gets more Buzz votes than TWC votes). There's just too many very popular web comics on that one to compete against.

I thought it was the other way around. It only makes sense that 'out' are the votes which are going out of your site and in are the people going in your site.

Oh well.

You still have 508 in though. Is that 508 votes so far today? Or for this month? Gah I hate it when they have numbers and they don't tell you what they mean

edit: I voted for DCI every day since fable created this topic. I feel
