not much of a rock fan, but I also looove VAST, and if you like them, Devin Townsend is the man. a once clinically insane man (honestly), but bloody good nonetheless.

The man said rock dammit...I am mostly been rocking man-rock...The Tubes, QOTSA, and every other track on One Hot MinuteOriginally posted by Tybaltus
Well everyone knows I like 80's music.
So here are the things youd expect to be on my list...
Depeche Mode
The Police
New Order
Japan
The Fixx
Tears For Fears
Talking Heads
The Cure
The Church
(Though those last 2 are 80's music, they typically arent my style, but good stuff)
So that encompasses New Wave, Goth, Dark Wave, and Industrial.
Strange...in every CD store I go to, all of the above are in the "Rock" section.Originally posted by frogus

Queensryche Operation: Mindcrime is one of the best cd's ever.
Not really rock, but; Omar and the Howlers, Popa Chubby, Chris Duarte, Gary Moore all great blues/rock.

Also for a good "Punk" band I recommend Joy Division. Or better yet go see 24 Hour Party People.
