This forum sort of regulates itself because of the great members we have. Nowhere on the internet have I ever seen a board like this.
Hardly enything bad ever happends here.
So what I'm saying is this, we hardly need moderators IMO.
So why replace Mrsleep?
But if we do assign a new one, I'd go for (yet again) HLD.
If his online time is good (read: enough) offcource.

I agree completly with this, and as such, I'm not going to vote for a new Mod, unless we absolutely need one.

I would assist with the "Anti-Weasel Wall" regardless, but thank you anyway.
If a moderatorship was offered I would certainly consider it.

...however, I do see a need for a new mod coming from a different time zone in relation to fable's and T's.
True, the members have somehow came up with a culture that regulates itself and fosters harmony despite the diverse in culture and personal opinions --- yet, I think three mods (not including Buck) is just the right number.
Mr. Flibble first comes to mind, then Eerhardt. Both are from very different time zones, are very level-headed and are very much accessible to the Net.
Thank you, btw, to those who even considered me.
But IMHO, I really think that the above mentioned gentlemen can do a better job than me, most especially since I got a few posts that had to be deleted if not major editting required.

First of all, I want to thank Mr Sleep for the good job he's done on SYM so far

.
Secondly, I also want to thank Ty and Mah for considering me as a mod, but I think it's in the best interest of the board if I don't run for mod

. As I have stated before, I appreciate the work the mods do and frankly, I'm not exactly made of mod material

.
That said, I think either one of the following members would do a good job at being a moderator (if they choose to accept): BS, Mr Flibble, HLD or Mah (who I will also nominate in Buck's thread)

It's a shame.....a SLURR Mod would have been
fascinating to watch ...
Still, NO WORRIES !

I agree with what you say regarding numbers entirely...IMO, even though SYM, in its very unique composition, usually does an an excellent job at self-moderation it strikes me that there have been enough occasions where there has been a critical need for three mods.
Regarding the posts you have made that have needed editing or deletion.... From what I recall you handled those situations with considerable grace and co-operation, and the fact that you mention these incidents here shows you have a great deal of humility ....also an important quality....
