Ah yes. Depeche Mode is one of my favorite bands. I have atleast 5 of their CD's and I have their first album on a tape-(Speak and Spell). I have stuff of theirs ranging from 1981 all the way to 2001, with their new CD-which wasnt that bad, stranger songs on it, though. Enjoy the Silence is among my favorites from them aswell, along with Personal Jesus, Blasphemous Rumors, Walking in My Shoes, Black Celebration, and Shake the Disease, among many, many more.
Thanks on the Avatar, I see you figured out where I got it.

@Kid Well I have a very eclectic view of music. I like almost everything-except for a handful of main-stream pop music, boy bands, country, and certain rap. Everything else is good. There are just certain bands I like more than others-Depeche Mode is one of them. I usually favor 80's music over everything else I like. Good to hear there is a fellow Depeche Mode fan here. There were quite a few fans of Depeche Mode at my school, too.

I could give you a list of all the bands that I have compilation CD's for, too.
As far as the avatar-well I dont know much about Hanzo, I was just searching the internet for a avatar that I liked to replace the noble night-and I found this one.

(I like both avatars-the knight and this one-I might switch back and forth, if I find another one, I might have a 3-way rotation, switching every month or so).
EDIT-Another Depeche Mode song I absolutely love is an instrunmental song called "Agent Orange". Great stuff.

IIRC, he was a Ninja...I believe a Iga Ninja. My history of him is mixed in with the games I have played and some things might not be true (according to my telling).
His tribe(? Iga) was wiped out by Oda Nobunaga in 1534. He then spent his life fighting against Oda.

Moving? No, but good - at least the early 70's stuff. I can't really think of any popular music that is really moving, lyrical-wise or musically...some older jazz perhaps, like Billie Holiday singing Strange fruit, one of the few political lyrics she sang.
I am personally more moved by intrumental music, that can really affect my emotional state.

I refer you to Thug's question:
My question is what quote from your favorite band fuels your emotions.

In Samurai Showdown games Hanzo Hattori is the chief of Iga Ninja Clan, who works for the Emperor.
And according to history Iga Ninja clan was wiped out by Oda Nobunaga.
I bow to Weasels broad knowledge
