Weapons for Jaheira
I think I know what I was thinking of now. Druids have always had the ability to wield scimitars. Unfortunately, there originally weren't any scimitars in the game. (Doh!) Not counting Drizzt's scimitars, of course. Fortunately, Tales of the Sword Coast adds three scimitars to the game: Scimitar (SW1H20), Scimitar +1 (SW1H22), and Scimitar +2: Rhashad's Talon (SW1H23). You can even buy a scimitar from Winthrop in Candlekeep when you start the game. Druids, rejoice!

Correct, on both countsOriginally posted by Astafas
Well, it wasn't in the manual either... I know for certain that there is no scimitars to buy before you install TotSC. But maybe a Druid could still use Drizzt's scimitars...

And then you have the Flame Blade spell, the flame blade being wielded as was it a scimitar...Originally posted by Ryo
Well, Jaheira can use daggers and those fall under the small sword proficiency...

Scimitars were left out of BG IIRC, and only included with TotSC. Also in some versions of BG namely the one I have, Drizzt is unable to be pick pocketed. You just get the message that "no valid items" or whatever message it is when you can't PP someone. I only actually palyed with a party once, and Jaheira used the Quarterstaff +1 I got from Silke(so easy with a solo thief). But in by soloing days I did solo a Fighter/Druid and gave him Ankheg Armor, a big shield, and the Dager of Venom. This guy was a machine. I know it looked really silly, but he was awesome... those flesh golems were nothing compared to that tiny little dagger and the ever popular Darts of Wounding. So if you're without TotSC and are playing a Druid, the Dagger of Venom is definately the way to go.
