According to demographics and present statistics, Europe can not survive economically without migration. It is a simple fact. The life expectancy is high, with very low birth rates, and a large part of the population in its late 30's and early 40s. In 20 years time they will be retired and need pensions. With the present birth rate it will be impossible for the Europeans to provide pensions and keep a stable and viable economy, without an influx of migrants every year. So M'n'M I don't think the Europeans have much of a choice, about allowing migrants. They can of course differentiate on, what type of migrants, say skilled in IT etc. But Europe has become a final destination continent and will remain so for a very long time. Only the scale of migration might change, but there will be a migration for sure.
On topic of Islamization of Europe. Time Europe had a cover article called Euro-Islam. I swear it was one of the dumbest articles I have read to date. One the person was not versused at all in Islam, second the person confused culture with religion. That was the major problem. Heck I stopped reading time after that. This was somewhere in Jan this year.
The article basically covered and attempted to show that muslims living in Europe were far different from the ones back in the muslim countries. I believe that is true. However what the article said is that they practiced a different more "westernised, European" form. That just didn't cut it.
Ach...i can't explain it without looking at the article and without you having read it.
I will try to find a link, or I will give you the date of the copy i have at home.
