Quit dumping on Eeyore!

Hey! Stop making Eeyore out to be some kind of manic depressive! It is all because of that awful book "The Tao of Pooh" that people think he is so sad. That book portrayed Eeyore in the worst light, while making Pooh out to be some great bear just because he never had a thought in his head! Grrr! Eeyore is a great guy, who is smart enough to know when things aren't great and smart enough to appreciate it when they get better.

LOL :D But I do actually own "Eeyore's Little Book of Gloom " - it was given to me as a leaving gift by my school English teacher (everyone in the class got something - and we got her the Pocket Kama Sutra :D ) - for some reason she must have thought it suited me ;)

You're right, you are an optimist :D
Even if he sits next to her husband?
Yes, only it would have to be more of an inner smile in order to avoid getting in trouble with her hubby ;)

But then, would CE notice? My smile is more of a "im happy to be alive" smile. Nothing for a cynic to wear.

But 1. you missed the finer implication there, I feel, and 2. you don't know what I think of optimists :p :D

Who said anything about CE noticing? All I said was you would be smiling in her presence - irregardless of whether she (or the hubby) notices :D

Somehow you dont seem as intimidate as you should be. Perhaps if I added a manical laughter to the end? would that be better?

The other person? You will have to figure that out on you own, but a subtle hint would be: Yes, definatly. ;)

I felt it was a little lacking in conviction, and not particularly maniacal, more... camp :D

I meant Aegis, but whatever... I've figured out your eveil scheme, and it's not going to work  :p

:( I thought it was meant to be somewhat camp, Besides it is hard to get it right when writing. Dont force me to use one of those multicolored posts to simulate madness.

Well, im no weasel, but atleast im capabel to concieve an evil scheme. Now that you know its not going to work, do you mind telling me what i did concieve? :o

Re: Re: Re: Eeyore is the best!

OK- yesterday, I started this thread called 'Minority Report Trailer', in which I asked a question about this trailer.
A few hours later, I bumped it.
A few hours after that, Der Moench left a reply saying he was oblivious of the topic.
A few hours after that, Georgi left a reply saying she couldn't help me.
Finaly- my point. A few hours after that, Der Moench left a reply concerning Georgi's avatar. I thought, that I'd better PM DM about how I'd rather him not change the subject, and that avatar questions are better left for PM's. Then, I decided, why bother? he hasn't gotten any replies so far!
How wrong I was!

Hey, usually if I don't know about whatever someone asks, I don't bother replying... but someone always complains about nobody replying to their topic even if obviously nobody has anything to say :p

Besides, at least you got lots of replies, someone who can answer your question might see the thread since we so kindly kept it at the top for you :D

Seriously - sorry for spamming up your thread Morlock :( All you have to do is say the words "no spam" ;)

@Georgi- I like your Rocky Horror Picture Show sig, and I'm not a pessimist or a cynic. I just like the movie, and have a lot of fond (not to mention slightly hazy) memories of watching it.

Apologies

@Morlock: my apologies. I did debate as to whether I should drop that note to Georgi, but decided to do so for two reasons: 1) your thread seemed pretty much dead; 2) there was no "no spam" hung out front. I do apologize for the inconvenience :( ... but like Georgi says: at least we are keeping it up on top of the board, where people will continue to see it. :)
