Well, it depends on how you use them. For instance, Aerie could be used to smash a door down. Imoen could be used to distract the PC from his overall quest. Nalia, though, actually has some decent skills.

Yep. She makes a great target for testing spells! :D

Nalia is an inferior Immy copy. She has lower thief skills which make her pretty useless... although it does mean she can get to be a bit higher level mage

@Mr Flibble I like the way you think :D

SMACK!

(would it be off-topic to smack Aegis? :D Oh well... SMACK! :p )

So what your saying, Georgi, is that you'd rather powergame by using the higher stats?

 No dear, I'd take Immy over Nalia despite the fact that Nalia gets to a higher mage level because Immy is my little sister :p

I'd question calling that powergaming anyway... Is it powergaming to want someone who can actually do what you need them to? Is it powergaming to make sure you have a balanced party with a thief, cleric, amge, fighter etc.? I think not ;)

SMACK!
SMACK!
SMACK!
SMACK!
SMACK!
SMACK!
SMACK!

No, in a sense it's powergaming to choose the one with better stats over the other who has more potential, and has more than enough theiving ability to get you through the game.

But choosing it on stats either way could be called powergaming.

I've seen fable move threads from the BG2 forum to SYM.

And I may just yet see him move one from SYM to BG2 :p

Nah, too much spam :D Nothing is off-topic for SYM ;)

Besides, wasn't the Aerie-smacking the first thing that got moved to SYM? :D If this topic was moved back to BG2, it would be like some kind of weird karmic return thing, man... :D

Ummm, I'll give those a pass. ;)

Purple can't be good for you.

The colour purple, not the pills. :D
