However, there were several things there that I couldn't remember if they applied or not, so that's a -15, but I'd say add a +2 for calculating my score on my 3 Color Graphing Calculator.
So, final result = 30

A couple of questions...
25 points if you built your computer yourself
1 point for every IDE device in your machine
-1 point if your IDE controller is ATA66
-3 points if your IDE controller is ATA33
1 point for every SCSI device connected to your machine
10 points if you run a RAID
1 bonus point if you can accurately explain what a RAID is
5 points if you have SCSI controller
1 bonus point if you can accurately explain how SCSI works
3 points if you run a dual-processor machine
2 points if you have a broadband connection
If I told Gateway what I wanted does this count as me building it?
What is a IDE device ?
And this IDE controller is?
And this SCSI device ?
Raid...(A guess) Ramdom Access In Denmark??
SCSI controller is?
Dual-processor ..I believe Gateway told me I had one...but I believe they lied??
Does it count if you had Broadband and had to go back to dial-up because Broadband over time got slower than a 14.4 modem?

It's a good thing it wasn't a "How many times have you done this...." type of quiz otherwise i would have been on at least 500 points

30.

Half of the points are scored by fitting a few bits and pieces with helpful advice from Mr Sleep and Yshania.

Are there bonus points for super-geeky things like having your own NT or 2000 server? Or Exchange?
It's a good thing it wasn't a "How many times have you done this...." type of quiz otherwise i would have been on at least 500 points
If that was so, I'd be in the millions by now.

I'd say that by even asking that, you're burying the needle on the Official SYM Geek O'Meter(TM).
