Definatly, personally I love the lack of randomness in dip.

I'll win the standard game due to some particularly twisted negotiations...
I was in a game a litle while ago where Italy took offensive action against Germany, and managed to capture Berlin and Kiel. :D

About playing here on sym, how do you suggest it should be managed?

I love risk.
Being playing it since was 7 - i am 20 now! :D
But nobody wants to play with me.
All my friends hate it or never heard of it.
I have heard about diplomacy, never played it.
I can try to get a copy - i am very rich now got paid for my internship! :D
So i can afford to buy a english comp game at swiss prices.
Just could someone please explain how we can play it on SYM?

Well Waverly seems to have done this kind of thing before, so best check with him.
However I think we can do it definitely with the actual PC version (which costs money so is probably a bad idea) or with this adjudication software which I'm downloading right now. I'll let you know how it works if Waverly isn't back by then.

I would love to do this sort of thing. I've never heard of Diplomacy, but I've played Risk once. I'm getting the things you recommended now. Can I join? :)

Never played a variant before... So what variant are you playing Waverly, and what other popular types are there?
