Paint it Black, written by the Rolling Stones, was written from the point of veiw of black people during the war in Vietnam. the meaning, to seen, must be dug up. I read this in a Rolling Stone magizine when they interveiwed Keith Richards.

I think it's an impressive song and I've always loved it. But now I know what it means I love it even more, thanks for the explanation.
But you really have to know it before you can see the meaning, I dug up the lyrics and to me, no such meaning can be seen.

LOL, perhaps but it's a powerful and slightly depressing song, and I love it. And it was the title song of a IMHO great series. Tour of Duty.

I loved that too. But it was on the TV very late at the time so I hardly saw it then.

Yeah the first airing was earlier 10 if IRC, the second time was after midnight. But I watched it as often as I could, cursing if I'd missed the title song.

When my friend and I ware playing "tour of duty" (long time ago) we all wanted to play the guy with the headband. He was the coolest by far IMO.

@Rob-hin: I believe the latest count was 15 including the two best of titles.
And real names, Sarge was almost always called Sarge how can you remember a name when you only hear it every ten episodes. And it's been a while since I last saw it.
