"Loner... you do realise there might be more going on here than it seems? We don't want to jump to any conclusions, here..."

Loner then suddenly remembered, it had been Anomen -- or some kind of apparition of him -- that had brought Georgi back from the dead. She had to speak carefully.

"Do you have any ideas?..."

"Yeah, I have an idea..." Georgi took a deep breath. "I think you should stay here and look after Kramor, while I take someone else and investigate." She looked down at the floor, knowing what Loner's expression would be.

Loner's eyes widened. "Oh no," she said. "Oh, no...no...way!!! You can't do this to me." Then she stopped, and remembered what Kramor had said about going off and getting killed. She sighed deeply.

"I suppose you're right though," she said. "Perhaps that would be the wisest thing, under the...circumstances....But I want to know what you find. I want to know all of it, the whole truth."

"There's something very weird going on here, Loner, and I want to know what it is as much as you do. But I want answers... not corpses. You ought to stay with Kramor anyway, he's not going anywhere for a few days, and you know what the two of you are like when you're apart... We'll be a day or two at most, if Kramor can tell us exactly where he found Anomen. No rushing into battle just yet. If it turns out there's killing to be done, we'll send for you." She winked.

Loner nodded. She was on the verge of tears and fought to restrain them. "You're right, you're right," she said. "I'll stay." She looked hard at Georgi. "I have been thinking...I've had the feeling something very, very strange is going on, as you say...and that we're walking blind into some..."

She cut off abruptly. "Don't pay any attention to me," she said. "I don't know what I'm saying..."

Georgi looked straight into Loner's eyes. "Look, I'm sorry. I'm going to take one of the others with me, and we're going to find out what this is all about. And when we do, you'll be the first to know." She hugged her friend.

Loner suddenly wanted to go along, not only for the obvious reason, but to help her friends. She was very worried.

"Take two or three," she said.

Georgi scratched her head. "The less of us there are, the easier it is not to be seen. I don't know, I think it might be safer with less."

"As you wish," said Loner. I'm just very uneasy about this, and I think there may be strength in numbers...then again these raiders are very stealthy.

"Whatever you do," she added, "just make sure you come back. These guys are not messing around."

Georgi thought back to her conversation with Jennabard that morning. "Ok, I'll take Vivien and Gwalchmai. And... do me a favour and keep an eye on JB, will you? She said something about nightmares... I'm a bit worried about her. We'll set off as soon as possible. Now, did Kramor say where he was when he was attacked?"

Loner shook her head. "No, he didn't, sorry," she answered. "We'll have to wait till he wakes up again. And of course I will look after Jennabard, of course..."

that name infurates her so much, all she could think of was how many ways there is to torture him. jennabard smiled as she dressed. the mirror lay in thousand peices on her floor. jennabard made her way to where the rest of the group. "i'll find him." was all she said as she walked away from the bleeding kramor.
everyone stared at her in shock. her transformation from a flashy bard to a stranger is complete.

"black clothes, fishnets, boots of doc marten +3, black nail polish, black lips and eye make up. OH MY GOD," said darkpoet," our bard has become...........A GOTH!"

"In the meantime, why don't you do what Kramor suggested - take a dip and calm down a bit. I'll go and find the others, tell them we're leaving tonight."

As Georgi spoke, she saw Jennabard emerge from her room, and stared in surprise. "Oh, umm, JB... Don't start rushing off, ok? We're going to check it out soon... I think it's best if you stay here."

Loner looked toward the door of Kramor's room, and bit her lip. "I think I would rather stay with him for a while," she said, and smiled tiredly. "I haven't seen him in a long time, you know...Please, be careful."

when no one was looking, jennabard began to 'accidentally break any mirror that came her way.'

sh was about to throw a full size mirror out the window when gwalchwai walked in "what are you doing, jennabard?"

putting the mirror behind her, jennabard (still edging her way to the window. "oh, nothing, just feel like rearranging the keep. oops." was all she said when she let go of the mirror. it smashed into the floor in a brilliant explosion. " jennabard are you okay?" gwalchwai began to approached but froze in place as she began to laugh manically at the mess.

Kramor awoke, his back was getting stiff. He slowly turned on his side. Looking out the window, he watched the sunset. As the sun set, the reds, yellows, golds, and orange colors, streaked across the sky. "What did I miss?", talking out loud. Trying to figure out, what would Anomen benefit attacking poor villages and farms. Kramor knew he liked to hang around the Black Rose Order, the question remains. Why have the Black Rose blamed for the attacks?
Kramor hoped that Loner was relaxing.

Loner stared in amazement at the ah...new Jennabard, and looked quizzically at Georgi...

Kramor heard the crash, and was looking for his sword.
"Oh hell, who has my sword?"
So he just sat in bed, pissed.

Georgi shrugged. "I told you there was something wrong... I had no idea it was this serious!"
