If the boy had 5 and combined them with hers.(which she doesn't have any) it will be 5+0=5

that means she is in debt of puppys
so if he combines his with her puppys that she owes it is almost like payment
if you have 5 dollars and owe 5 dollars that 5 dollars is caancelled out

Look at it this way she killed 5 of mr.x's puppys so she needs 5 puppys for him the kid has them so will mr.x has 5 they have 0

AH but that wasn't put in the post. Like I said it comes down to how you define 'negative'

Hmmm, I have to agree with Weasel, you can't have a negative number of puppies...
And isn't that more of a maths test than a psych test? (-5 + 5 = 0)
