in order to say thanks to them, we constantly make fun of them too... well a lot of kids do.

Hmm...I like //\\//sync, 98°, and Plus One(Christian boyband). However, I don't much like the Beatles. I don't like their voices. I have a beatles song sung by Sailor Moon and the Inner Senshi. They do a much better job. ;)

You know their spouses were in the room at the time. ;)

IIRC, I said I am chaotic. Neither good, neutral, nor evil; purely chaotic.

We, or at least I, expect people to hate things like racism or child abuse (or any form of abuse for that matter) anyway, so we don't think it is necessary to tell about that. :) As for boy bands, some people do like and some don't, therefore we need to say loudly. ;)

Personally, I hate chat shows and soap operas. :D

Well would you rather listen to a black person and a white person scream each other's faces off for an hour or N'sync for an hour?

In some ways they're both equally bad

Considering the fact that I like listening to //\\//sync, I would much rather listen to them than anyone yell at each other, which explains why I don't listen to hard rock.

@Jaker: Well, if you're wife isn't your favourite date, then you've got the wrong wife, no?

More like re-re-re-re-re-<iterate as needed>-re-hashing the fifties, sixties and seventies. I get the feeling that this weeks hits are remixes of last weeks hits that were remixes of ... which must be because the old music industry executives have all been replaced by new music industry executives all born in the mid- to late 60's. We need a revolution, and I doubt it's going to be led by neither Beatles nor Boyz'r'us, et al. :p To the barricades!

Hey wait, I'm too old for this... I should be up there with the execs...

You ungrateful kids! Buy more records and stop copying music! Sure it's a new song, we changed two words near the end, _and_ we added a new backbeat on the drummachine. Of course you need this record. :D

Actually, there are some songs that are still good. An example would be Countin' Flowers On The Wall by the Statler Brothers. Great song, love their singing of it. However, I prefer the instrumental arrangement of the new version of song. Now, if we could just have the Statler Brothers singing it with the new musical arrangement, that'd be perfet. ;) :D

BTW, anyone here like the song "I'm A Believer" by Smashmouth?

Well i saw a recent band called Blue who ripped off a song that was released about a year before their version by a band called "next", anyway this song was not even a remix, it was an exact copy, no difference at all.

that is one of the big problems with popular music today, there are so few songwriters. more than likely, both bands you saw, simply bought the song from one writer, neither have rights to it.
or take the countless songs that record company fabricated R&B artists have released that were originally country songs.
my problem with "boy bands" is the same problem i have with just about every mainstream artist...it is just manufactured crap with no heart or soul in it. if a song makes the top 40, it is only because record companies and MTV shove it down people's throats convincing them that it is the best.

go see your local bands (not cover bands)!!!

Point #3: Alignment. How can EVERYONE be Good or Neutral?!?! The only people that admitted to ANY evil were:

Yshania
Rapier
and Humanflyz
  I have been rumbled :D I do gladly accept the points for mentioning my hubby as a dream date though ;)

I was talking about people who put down "my wife" as their >DREAM DATE<, not as their "favorite date". (just a clarification.)
