Deer huntin' is an important part of country life in Texas. And it don't matter whether you shot the deer or ran over it in your truck(as long as the tire marks ain't too noticable).

deer overbreed, during hunting season you are allowed to thin the heards and there are restrictions on what can be shot and how many, and there is a lot of etiquette as well as to what you shoot.
if they are left unchecked, they will starve to death from overgrazing.
