I remember that quote, though not specifically from that book.

It was in a comic strip once. The preacher in the comic strip also wrote a column for a newspaper, answering people's questions. One guy wrote in asking, "Can God make a stone so large he can't lift it?" The preacher responded with "I don't know, but you can ask a question so dumb I can't answer it."
