The largest of the Angkor temples(the Angkor Wat) was built during the reign of Suryavarma the 2nd and was completed after his death. It was built to celebrate his victory in defeating Champa and in uniting Cambodia.Angkor in Sanskrit means city. The kings of Angkor believed they were the representatives of Siva and Vishnu on Earth. The Angkor Wat is unique in that on it's walls there are carvings telling the story of the 2 great Indian epics, the Ramayana and the Mahabharata

Sorry for not replying earlier.

Not bad but leaves out a lot of fine detail - the gorier bits of the battle between Set and ..ahem.. Osiris for example.
http://condor.stcloudstate.edu/~bayner02/egypt/egypt.html
You can download the Book of the Dead from this site. Again important bits are omitted, for example:
"The deceased BGII poster shall be buried with a CDRW with their Final Save, a scrap of paper bearing their GameBanshee password, and a small can of Spam. Those deemed worthy and righteous by Osiris shall be revived and furnished with their own terminal, internet ready. Those deemed unworthy shall be flung into a pit of eternal flames..."
I hope these show up as links.
