I dont think you need to report it - interpol probably knows about it but there is not alot they can do.

It is a known fraud, as most of you suspect. Though I'm sure Weasel was quick to relinquish his account number, I'd advice the rest of you to contact the Better Business Bureau, or the equivalent agency in your country. There are, of course, several variations of the scam. A few are discussed here:

Well seing as the useally comes from "yahoo-mail", hotmail etc that would not do much good.
Just deltee the mails, or rejoice (like I do/did the times I got it) that somebody wants to cheat you
