Sometimes, when I'm searching for something using a search engine, I'll click a site that says it is one thing and it turns out to be a porn site. Those same sites usually have 20 million pop ups that come up as soon as you try to leave their site. Each time you close one of the pop ups, it triggers 2-3 more pop ups, often resulting in multiples of the same pop up. If you're patient enough, you can close them one by one by exiting each individual window. That's what I did on my computer and it took about 20-30 minutes to get rid of them all. The other method, what I used to close all the pop ups on my parents computers, is to alt+F4 repeatedly until you get the window asking if you want to shut down/restart. When you get that window, you know you've closed all of the pop ups and no more are going to pop up. Because the websites had set themselves as home page, it was impossible to open IE without getting pop ups, at first. I had to disconnect from the net and tell IE to work offline to prevent pop ups.</STRONG>

For some reason when you leave your email address at some sites. They will sell your address, to anyone who will buy it. (ie.. porn sites.) Put your IE securty at medium high, it will help to keep those sites out. Hotmail has the same problem, you might want to find a program called the cookie monster. It helps to control the cookies that your computer excepts.

I do have it, if you want me to email it to anyone.

I have the same problem with receiving porn pages at my hotmail address. Immediately forward them to abuse@hotmail.com. It has decreased significantly since I started doing that--hotmail has people who investigate the senders and shut them down.

I don't think so. My yahoo account has is identical, except for what follows the @, to one of my hotmail accounts.
