Well, the email didnt beep at me, because I use hotmail, and that doesnt beep when theres a new email. Still the large number shocked me when I got there that night. If I used AOL email, the new email sound "Youve got mail!" would drive me off the deep end, for sure
Yes, me too! I used to have AOL, but now use Outlook. It is set to beep to notify, but all I actually hear is some kind of click from the CPU Never the less, I am sure it would have sounded like a field of crickets during the game

Yeah, I'm not sure of the details, but imagine if AOL/Time-Warner went the way of Enron? *sheesh!*
I bet the British ISPs (especially British Telecom) are loving this. AOL are the only provider over here that I know of that do not have to charge VAT (!7.5%) on top of their subscription. I think it is only a matter of time though

Well I know that, now. It never was bad before that day, but 414 emails is a bit much. I would hate to think what would have happened if I didnt check my email for a week, which is what I used to do.

These slow nights are a pain, everyone knows I need to be entertained, but do they care? noooo, off somewhere with their real life .......
Having a real life is over-rated I think. Ill be sticking around here for a while-so we could have a small conversation. But I wish people like Georgi, Dottie, Ode, or The Z were here aswell. Conversations tend to errupt when they are around.
