Sadly this has been true in my experience. On the plus side, they also seem to finish better off, but still last.

Well heres my first pre-prom picture. I am standing next to my date. We may not look that close in the picture, but truthfully, shes one of my best friends.

The prom was fun, spent a few minutes dancing, lots of talking, and since it was the senior prom, some goodbyes aswell......

Great shots re: recent photos!

I have a suggestion.....
I think this is a cool thread, and I love the discussion that the photos generate....
I am wondering though if it might be an idea for those people who have put up images of themselves to also place one into their posts in the anatomy thread????

That thread does not get spammed up, and is a sticky...plus photos alongside people's bios would be a nice touch.

As long as my photo stays buried beneath layers of spam, I am happy.

The anatomy thing is a good idea, it would make photos easy to track down, but so would HLD's idea, IF people took the "No Spam" thing seriously

But do you really want to search through the Anatomy thread for everyone's entry? Aren't there some folks who have posted non-self portraits, too (ie-the group photos from Mr Sleep et al)? What about folks who post more than one photo?

Either way, Id be happy. Im tired of searching through all the SPAM. I say we create the new thread, and make sure theres no SPAM, and we can kindly request people to delete their SPAM posts on that thread.

*starts to feel uncomfortable cause no ones commented on my recent picture posted...*

(Not really, but Im trying hard to change the subject back to pictures

)

I have to say, I rather like this spammed-up thread the way it is. Lots of photos have been posted, and it is gratifying to get comments/spam about the specific photos, rather than having to correlate two threads in order to see what was said about a particular photo in another thread.

In that vein, I wish to comment on Tyb's photo:
Very nice! I like your dark suit. It makes you look like a 30's gangster! I keep expecting you to pull out your Tommy Gun and shout "Cheese it! The cops!" the start spraying bullets around muttering "You dirty coppers! You'll never take me alive!" All the while Sam Spade evades all your bullets and takes you out with a single shot from his handgun. Hmmmm. Not a great scenario. On the other hand, the shades are also very cool. Makes you look like the Blues Brothers. Are you a Soul Man?

You asked for it....
