I'm sooooo not your SO. I realise you expressed an interest in older, mature men in the other thread, but I, for one, do not hit on under age teenage boys...

This was my night:
- Go drinking with a friend.
- Find out a girl I know is going to be there with her friends.
- Spend a half hour looking for girl and her friends.
- Hang out with a friend of the girl I know.
- Have my friend go off to dance with another friend of the girl I know.
- Get drunk.
- Talk to friend of girl I know about Speech-Language Pathology and the guy the girl I know is dancing with.
- Go home I don't even know how. (Honestly. I'm at home I just realized I don't know how I got here. Likely a cab.)
- Talk to girl I know on MSN Messenger.
- Find out the friend of the girl I know told the girl I know that I "really really like" the girl I know
- Find out this is true and it took someone else saying it for me to realize it
- Dish some neuroses to girl I know
- Feel stupid
- Have girl I know tell me she really likes me too but it's not practical because she's going to grad school in another city
- Go pee pee
- Come back to MSN
- Flirt it up with girl I know
- Get left with positive outlook of perspective with girl I know
- Scratch head
- Watch country music television network for two hours

None of it was normal for me. I'm the guy who decided for himself that romance was a farce, dating was pointless, and affection for another person was stupid.
And really, if I'm going to contradict all those assumptions, I might as well watch country.

I'm actually from "the country", and currently live in a "metropolis". But any suicidal musings have been present long before exposure to country music, and I've endured thus far.
Edit: The thing I like about mopey country is the "keep on keepin' on" mentality. **** sucks, sure... but that's no reason to quit. You just... keep on keepin' on.
It's like... your doom is inevitable... why hurry it along?

Ah, but you see, country music could be the proverbial drop that makes the bucket overflow.

Only urban foxes eat cats and that is rare.
