If they're supposed to be ignoring your pleas, why bother?

To confuse them obviously, or give them a reason to hit you or to fill the silence or you know if it's a kidnapping type movie it has to be done as it would be seen as more realistic + people are idiots, they will do any number of things to save them selvs.

I have procured a certain creature which I keep in a compound in the U.K.
This thing, called a 'Feasel' is relatively large, red hair, red eyes, and a bushy tail, and a bushy beard, to keep me from coming you must go to this compound, greet the 'Feasel' and survive for three days wi thout being bodily harmed or sexually taken advantage of, you must do this while wearing a goat costume, you may not take the costume off, however you may do anything you please to escape the creature short of destroying the creature, the compound, and yourself, and of course you cannot leave the compound.

Yes, well, never forget that the baddies' fatal flaw is arrogance. Flatter them, then confuse them into letting you go.
In Phreddie's case, just find the bane to any flying goat's existence.
