I could find you there

Heaven's so far away
And it feels, Yeah it feels like
The world has grown cold
Now that you've gone away"

I have a friend who goes to school a block away from the WTC ... I haven't heard from her yet :(

Everybody is upset about this horrible act, but we should still try not to spread desinformation and not jump to premature conclusions about who did it.

Arafat has condemned the act, and expressed his sympathies and condolences to Bush and the American people. Even DFLB and Hamas has condemeced the act.

From BBC:

Yasser Arafat: "We completely condemn this serious operation... We were completely shocked. It's unbelievable, unbelievable, unbelievable.

I send my condolences, the condolences of the Palestinian people to American President (George W) Bush and his government and to the American people for this terrible act,"

Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq Hariri also condemned the attack and expressed condolences.

He said the attacks went against "human and religious values."

The ambassador for Afghanistan's ruling Taleban party in Pakistan condemned the attacks, and rejected any suggestion that Saudi dissident Osama bin Laden was behind them.

I do however strongly suggest that everyone takes a deep breath and analyses the situation. To accuse anybody specifically of the crime seems pre-mature at this point.

The real issue here is the people who have lost their lives. They are the people who need our concern. Blaming anyone at this point is irrational, there are a lot of suspects.

Please do not continue to perpetuate hate against any group and/or nation, that behaviour is destructive.

I reitterate that this whole tragedy is shocking and has stunned me greatly, my prayers go to the families who have been effected by this devastating situation

This is a real sad day...the worst within century since the atmoic bomb attack on the Japanese. The difference is the atomic attack were ment to stop WW2, but this attack were made cowardly and this is not a war time

Fellow spammers in US please help as much as you can. I can only pray for you and those victims from my location here.

Final note for military people : Why don't you just terminate that Osama and forget the other side effects ? Just whack that sick B*stard. I'm not accusing him but apparently all the clues from the news were pointed at him. send in the KT !

I'm really scared... so afraid, I have not been able to smile or laugh all day... I've sensed something was going to happen the last couple weeks... I couldn't sleep and I had nightmares of war for the longest time. Now it has come true.

I saw this coming...

According to the news, US government have no idea who to declare war with. My point is simple, First declare war with all terrorism act. All terrorist must be dealt with extreme prejudice.

@DP: My deepest condolences to you and your family. :( You share this horrible loss today with thousands and thousands of people - I can hardly believe the total lack of respect for human lives the fanatic people carrying out those horrific acts must have. :(

Why did Kisama bin Laden have to do this??
Has this been confirmed? If not I would advise caution with such strong accusations (and language :) ) Mr Sleep has asked we stay calm...

It is an unbelievably emotional time I know, but we need to keep as level headed as we can :)
