LUCA TURILLI

Black realm's majesty

Arkan's friends were now convinced they knew the real truth
Just her sacrifice would have been real hope for the Zaephyr's salvation
The old Vaikaris so spoke these were his own words
From her sad arrival he was sure that she was hiding something

She is the portal of cosmic evil all demons live in her alien breath
She keeps the seed of the far oblivion and for all this she's condemned to
death

Black realm's majesty light my sad destiny
My death shall free his world
Chaos will not use me anymore

Arkan stopped her bitter words with a kiss so warm
When she asked him to let her die there in the embrace of that frost
She could not accept the truth, she was the cause of all
And knew evil now was using her as passage for its coming

The eclipse is the sun of its newborn kingdom
The demons the soldiers of this dark war
It wants to conquer the holy planet it wants to rape the spirit of love

Black realm's majesty light my sad destiny
My death shall free his world
Chaos will not use me anymore

I will die in his name to close the portal to free my pain

Awesome music.
Anybody knows something of the background of this story?

I have that CD... Since he is the guitarplayer in Rhapsody, I would guess it is a story...Something like the stories in Rhapsody's music.

And that is about...? :)
I have never heard any Rhapsody songs so far, came accros this track only a week or so ago, so that's why I'm trying to getmore info about it. Sounds interesting.

Warriors of Good defeating evil Lords. On the journey, some of the hero's friends die and he have to avenge them and so on. I really recommend Rhapsody.

Hey Stoopid - Alice Cooper

Hey bro, take it slow
You ain't livin' in a video
You're flying low with a high velocity
No doubt, you're stressin' out
That ain't what rock n' roll's about
Get off that one way trip down lonely street

Now I know you've been kicked around
You ain't alone in this ugly town
You stick a needle in your arm
You bite the dust, you buy the farm

[CHORUS]
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey stoopid
What ya tryin' to do
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey stoopid
They win you lose
Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey stoopid

C'mon girl, it's a better day
Get your foot out of that grave
Don't let that one love tear your world apart
C'mon babe, kick that stuff
Show the street it ain't so tough
Quit lyin' around with a crippled, broken heart

Now I know you've been seeing red
Don't put a pistol to your head
sometimes your answer's heaven sent
Your way is so damn permanent

[CHORUS]

This ain't your daddy talkin'
You know, I know
Your story ain't so shocking
You know, I know
Blow some steam
C'mon and scream

[CHORUS]

Chris Rea - The road to hell (part 2)

Well I'm standing by a river
But the water doesn't flow
It boils with every poison you can think of
And I'm underneath the streetlight
But the light of joy I know
Scared beyond belief way down in the shadows
And the perverted fear of violence
Chokes the smile on every face
And common sense is ringing out the bellc
This ain't no technological breakdown
Oh no, this is the road to hell

And all the roads jam up with credit
And there's nothing you can do
It's all just bits of paper flying away from you
Oh look out world, take a good look
What comes down here
You must learn this lesson fast and learn it well
This ain't no upwardly mobile freeway
Oh no, this is the road
Said this is the road
This is the road to hell

Chris Rea - Looking for the summer (ahhh, it' just so beautiful!)

Look deep inside the April face
A change is clearly taking place
Looking for the summer

The eyes take on a certain gaze
And leave behind the springtime days
Go looking for the summer

This ain't no game of kiss and tell
The implications how you know so well
Go looking for the summer

The time has come and they must go
To play the passion out that haunts you so
Looking for the summer

Remember love how it was the same
We scratched and hurt each others growing pains
We were looking for the summer

And still I stand this very day
With a burning wish to fly away
I'm still looking, looking for the summer

Red Hot Chilli Peppars - This Velvet Glove

Close to my skin
Im falling in
Someone whos been

Sittin by the phone
Im left alone
In another zone

John says to live above hell
My will is well

No one is waiting
For me to fail
My will could sail yeah

Its such a waste to be wasted
In the first place
I want to taste the taste of
Being face to face with common grace
To meditate on the warmest dream
And when I walk alone I listen
To our secret theme

Your solar eyes are like
Nothing I have ever seen
Somebody close
That can see right through
Id take a fall and you know
That Id do anything
I will for you

Sailin for the sun
Cause There is one
Knows where Im from

I care for you
I really do I really do

Come closer now
So you can lie
Right by my side

Sit alone in the sun
I wrote a letter to you
Getting over myself

Your solar eyes are like
Nothing I have ever seen
Somebody close
That can see right through
Id take a fall and you know
That Id do anything
I will for you

Your solar eyes are like
Nothing I have ever seen
Somebody close
That was made for you
Id take a fall and you know
That Id do anything
I will for you

Close to my skin
Someone whos been
Im a falling in

Disasters are
Just another star
Falling in my yard

John says to live above hell
My will is well

Long to be with
Someone to tell
I love your smell

This thread looks awesome. Here's a song I like, and it happens to be stuck in my head right now.

Carousel-Blink 182
I talk to you every now and then
I never felt so alone again
I stop to think at a wishing well
My thoughts send me on a carousel

Here I am standing on my own
Not a motion from the telephone
I know not a reason why
Solitudes a reason to die

Just you wait and see
As school life is a
It is a woken dream
Aren't you feeling alone?

I guess its just another
I guess its just another
I guess its just another night alone

Now as I walk down the street
I need a job just to sleep in sheets
Buying food every once in a while
But not enough to purchase a smile

A tank of gas is a treasure to me
I know now that nothing is free
I talk to you every now and then
I never felt so alone again

Just you wait and see
As school life is a
It is a woken dream
Aren't you feeling alone?

I guess its just another
I guess its just another
I guess its just another night alone

Sucks that they broke up, but I still like their songs.

Queen - Fat Bottomed Girls
:D

Are you gonna take me home tonight
Are down beside that red firelight
Are you gonna let it all hang out
Fat bottomed girls
You make the rockin' world go round

Hey I was just a skinny lad
Never knew no good from bad
But I knew life before I left my nursery
Left alone with big fat Fanny
She was such a naughty nanny
Heap big woman you made a fat boy out of me
Hey hey!

I've been singing with my band
Across the wire across the land
I seen ev'ry blue eyed floozy on the way, hey
But their beauty and their style
Went kind of smooth after a while
Take me to them dirty ladies every time

Oh won't you take me home tonight?
Oh down beside your red firelight
Oh and you give it all you got
Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin' world go round
Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin' world go round

Hey listen here
Now I got mortgages and homes
I got stiffness in the bones
Ain't no beauty queens in this locality (I tell ya)
Oh but I still get my pleasure
Still got my greatest treasure
Heap big woman you gone and made a big man out of me
Now get this

Are you gonna take me home tonight (please)
Oh down beside that red firelight
Are you gonna let it all hang out
Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin' world go round
Fat bottomed girls you make the rockin' world go round
GET ON YOUR BIKES AND RIDE!

Oooh yeah oh yeah them fat bottomed girls
Fat bottomed girls
Yeah yeah yeah
all right
ride 'em cowboys
Fat bottomed girls
Yes yes
ohh gets me everytime

I had a discussion with my roommates, and another one with an ex of mine yesterday about the whole thing going on down in New Orleans, and the reaction to it in the rest of the country. Made me think of this song.

"April 29th, 1992" by Sublime

(I don't know if you can, but can you get an order for Ons, that's O-N-S,
Junior Market, the address is 1934 East Anaheim, all the windows are
busted out,... if he wants to)

April 26th, 1992
There was a riot on the streets
Tell me where were you?
You were sittin' home watchin' your TV
While I was participating in some anarchy
First spot we hit it was my liquor store
I finally got all that alcohol I can't afford
With red lights flashin', time to retire
And then we turned that liquor store into a structure fire
Next stop we hit, it was the music shop,
It only took one brick to make the window drop
Finally we got our own P.A.
Where do you think I got this guitar that you're hearing today?

(Call fire... respond mobil station. alamidos in anaheim, its uhh flaming up good...)

When we returned to the pad to unload everything
It dawned on me that I need new home furnishings
So once again we filled the van until it was full
Since that day my livin' room's been much more comfortable
Cause everybody in the hood has had it up to here
It's getting harder, and harder, and harder each and every year
Some kids went in a store with their mother
I saw her when she came out she was gettin' some Pampers
They said it was for the black man
They said it was for the mexican
But not for the white man
But if you look at the streets, it wasn't about Rodney King
It's this <expletive deleted> situation and these <expletive deleted> police
It's about comin' up and stayin' on top
And screamin' 1-8-7 on a <expletive deleted> cop
It's ain't in the paper, it's on the wall
National guard
Smoke from all around

(Units be advised of an attempt 211 to arrest now at 938 Temple, 9-3-8
Temple, many subjects with bats trying to get inside the CB's
house...they're trying to kill him)

Cuz' as long as I'm alive, I'ma live illegal

Let it burn
Wanna let it burn, wanna let it burn
Wanna wanna let it burn
(I feel insane)
Riots on the streets of Miami
Whoa, riots on the streets of Chicago
On the streets of Long Beach
In San Francisco
Riots on the streets of Kansas City
Tuskaloosa, Alabama
Cleveland, Ohio
Fountain Valley, Paramount, Vista Buelle
Eugene, Oregon
Eureka, California
Hesperia
Santa Barbara
<expletive deleted> Nevada
Phoenix, Arizona
San Diego
Lakeland, Florida
<expletive deleted> 29 Palms

(Need a unit to... structure fire and numerous subjects looting)
(10-15 to get rid of this looter)

Calling All Heroes - David Shankle Group

In the days of old
Stars disappear, nights are growing cold

Oh, heroes of our schemes
Reaching out to someone, someone of their dreams

When the lighting strikes
When the children sigh
When the magic dies
Calling all heroes
When the voice decays
When the death remains
When the music fades
Calling all heroes

In these days of old
Heroes appear, fantasy unfolds
Stories untold
Voices of the heart, magic of the soul

Oh, heroes of our schemes
Reaching out to someone, someone of their dreams

When the lighting strikes
When the children sigh
When the magic dies
Calling all heroes
When the voice decays
When the death remains
When the music fades
Calling all heroes

It's calling out to me
Fantasy or reality, love can never be
Oh, solidarity
Deny the cheap insanity, you're reaching out to me

When the lighting strikes
When the children sigh
When the magic dies
Calling all heroes
When the voice decays
When the death remains
When the music fades
Calling all heroes

Crusader - Saxon

(Who dares battle the Saracen)

Crusader, crusader, please take me with you
The battle lies far to the east
Crusader, crusader, don't leave me alone
I want to ride out on your quest
I'm waiting, I'm waiting, to stand by your side
To fight with you over the sea
They're calling, they're calling, I have to be there
The holy land has to be free

Fight the good fight
Believe what is right
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm
Fight the good fight
With all your might
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm

We're marching, we're marching, to a land far from home
No one can say who'll return
For Christendom's sake, we'll take our revenge
On the pagans from out of the east
We Christians are coming, with swords held on high
United by faith and the cause
The Saracen heathen will soon taste our steel
Our standards will rise 'cross the land

Fight the good fight
Believe what is right
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm
Fight the good fight
With all your might
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm

To battle, to battle, the Saracen hordes
We follow the warrior king
Onward, ride onward, into the fight
We carry the sign of the cross
Warlords of England, Knights of the Realm
Spilling their blood in the sand
Crusader, crusader, the legend is born
The future will honour your deeds

Fight the good fight
Believe what is right
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm
Fight the good fight
With all your might
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm

(Come Crusader let battle commence)

Fight the good fight
Believe what is right
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm

Fight the good fight
Believe what is right
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm
Crusader, the Lord of the Realm

Antony & The Johnsons - Hope There's Someone
Beautiful song. Quite unique too.

Hope there's someone
Who'll take care of me
When I die, will I go

Hope there's someone
Who'll set my heart free
Nice to hold when I'm tired

There's a ghost on the horizon
When I go to bed
How can I fall asleep at night
How will I rest my head

Oh I'm scared of the middle place
Between light and nowhere
I don't want to be the one
Left in there, left in there

There's a man on the horizon
Wish that I'd go to bed
If I fall to his feet tonight
Will allow rest my head

So here's hoping I will not drown
Or paralyze in light
And godsend I don't want to go
To the seal's watershed

Hope there's someone
Who'll take care of me
When I die, Will I go

Hope there's someone
Who'll set my heart free
Nice to hold when I'm tired

I have just been listening to The Pogues album, Rum, Sodomy and the Lash... and this sobering, well-known track really made me pause... Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose....

And The Band Played Waltzing Matilda

When I was a young man I carried my pack
And I lived the free life of a rover
From the Murrays green basin to the dusty outback
I waltzed my Matilda all over
Then in nineteen fifteen my country said Son
It's time to stop rambling 'cause there's work to be done
So they gave me a tin hat and they gave me a gun
And they sent me away to the war
And the band played Waltzing Matilda
As we sailed away from the quay
And amidst all the tears and the shouts and the cheers
We sailed off to Gallipoli

How well I remember that terrible day
How the blood stained the sand and the water
And how in that hell that they called Suvla Bay
We were butchered like lambs at the slaughter
Johnny Turk he was ready, he primed himself well
He chased us with bullets, he rained us with shells
And in five minutes flat he'd blown us all to hell
Nearly blew us right back to Australia
But the band played Waltzing Matilda
As we stopped to bury our slain
We buried ours and the Turks buried theirs
Then we started all over again

Now those that were left, well we tried to survive
In a mad world of blood, death and fire
And for ten weary weeks I kept myself alive
But around me the corpses piled higher
Then a big Turkish shell knocked me arse over tit
And when I woke up in my hospital bed
And saw what it had done, I wished I was dead
Never knew there were worse things than dying
For no more I'll go waltzing Matilda
All around the green bush far and near
For to hump tent and pegs, a man needs two legs
No more waltzing Matilda for me

So they collected the cripples, the wounded, the maimed
And they shipped us back home to Australia
The armless, the legless, the blind, the insane
Those proud wounded heroes of Suvla
And as our ship pulled into Circular Quay
I looked at the place where my legs used to be
And thank Christ there was nobody waiting for me
To grieve and to mourn and to pity
And the band played Waltzing Matilda
As they carried us down the gangway
But nobody cheered, they just stood and stared
Then turned all their faces away

And now every April I sit on my porch
And I watch the parade pass before me
And I watch my old comrades, how proudly they march
Reliving old dreams of past glory
And the old men march slowly, all bent, stiff and sore
The forgotten heroes from a forgotten war
And the young people ask, "What are they marching for?"
And I ask myself the same question
And the band plays Waltzing Matilda
And the old men answer to the call
But year after year their numbers get fewer
Some day no one will march there at all

Waltzing Matilda, Waltzing Matilda
Who'll come a waltzing Matilda with me
And their ghosts may be heard as you pass the Billabong
Who'll come-a-waltzing Matilda with me?

I hope it's OK to answer this.

That's a great song and June Tabor has a version which is worth listening to. She also does The Flowers of the Forest, which is often associated with it in this country, though, as far as I know, it is not by the same composer (Eric Bogle). I think you might like it too

All the talk about Kool Aid in the spam threads reminded me of this song.

Guyana (Cult Of The Damned) - ManowaR

Thank You For The Kool Aid Reverend Jim
We’re Glad To Leave Behind Their World Of Sin
Our Lifeless Bodies Fall On Holy Ground
Rotting Flesh A Sacrificial Mound

Were You Our God Or A Man In A Play
Who Took Our Applause And Forced Us To Stay
Now All Together We Lived As We Die
On Your Command By Your Side
Die By Your Side

Guyana In The Cult Of The Damned
Give Us Your Word
For The Grand Final Stand

In The Cult Of The Damned We All Worked The Land
Too Afraid To Look Up We All Feared His Hand
Hurry My Children There Isn’t Much Time
But We’ll Meet Again On The Other Side
Be Good To The Children And Old People First
Hand Them A Drink They’re Dying Of Thirst

Guyana In The Cult Of The Damned
Give Us Your Word For The Grand Final Stand

Bigfoot Bigfoot Thrown In A Well
Pulled Under Water Screaming Like Hell
He Told Us Life Was Just A Hotel
Time To Check Out When He Rang The Bell

Guyana In The Cult Of The Damned
Give Us Your Word For The Grand Final Stand

Mother Mother Mother
