Hmmm, my first day at uni was over. I took the train to get there, which took me 1:50 minutes, which is normal, but on the way back, the overhead electricity cables malfunctioned somewhere on my route. (Apparently there's a shortage of Brynns here to keep an eye on them...) This meant it took me 3:20 hours to get back home. Not fun. I want to sleep.
Awww! Ikky needs huggles! :D :p

Unlucky, ikky. :(

I'm glad I've avoided that kind of delay on trains so far. The worst I've had is probably about 30/45 mins extra.

Oh! I would like to know more but I suppose you, as a tired passanger, didn't look into the matter closely :D

Well, have a good rest, sleep well :)

it's nice to know all the weeks(not hours anymore) you've spent in WoW haven't taken away your golden heart B ;)

Aw, that's nice. :)

I fortunately have a few alternatives for my train journeys. There are a couple of lines that get back home and the main one that I use splits into two at one point and rejoins later. Once I think there was a suicide which forced a shutdown of one of those sections so all the trains were rerouted around the other longer section. Glad it didn't happen in the rush hour and that I didn't need to go to anywhere within the closed section.

Anyway, my point is the unpredictability of these services. It's a pain but I prefer it to the idea of driving instead for every trip. :p

Just know that lots of us suffer train services on a regular basis.

The most annoying thing is when you get overtaken by a train that normally moves at a fraction of the speed you're travelling at. As if waiting for no reason in the same spot for ages and ages isn't bad enough :p
*hugs ikky*

*starts to sing lullaby for Ikky*
Awwwww, you guys... :o How can I repay those sweet gestures?

*thinks for 3 minutes*

I gave it 3 minutes of thought. That should be enough, right? ;) Or I could promise you all a beer, like all the others always do. (esp. Rav, who thinks he can get in de dictionary by 'giving' us beer, whisky, tequila and vodka, while I haven't really had any yet.)

Speaking of the dictionary and replying to IM: the dictionary hasn't had any additions since the last time you got here, I think. I don't know if people use it to look stuff up...

Tsk. What do you want from me Ikky?

Shall I be more sympathetic?

I'm wondering whether it's a bad thing to be out of the dictionary. :p
