Perhaps I didn't include enough detail in the post to discern fantasy from reality. The door closing is symbolic of him pushing Uther's urges away for the first time this night.
I can add to the post to make it more readable. I have always had the problem of trying to convey my ideas into written word. sorry

@Aegis: I don't think a scar like yours could go unseen. If you really want to stay blind on one eye, let me know and Gwally will take me aside to tell me that unfortunately there's nothing that the DF can do about this.

I would worry about the Ranger's accuracy with the bow if he lacks binocular vision (lack of depth-perception).
Doesn't Regeneration restore lost limbs or organs? Maybe T'lainya or Ned (our fonts of Arcane Knowledge) could answer this...

I believe regeneration will restore organs and limbs unless such a damaged area has been burned/cauterized. Thus, the need to burn the trolls body when they reach zero HP's.
Aegis, fix your face, or you'll be the laughing stock of the archery community.
