{OOC Mayhaps we should rename our thread to "As the Flame Turns", or "All my Flames." :D ;) }

Her wounds healed, Dragon Wench stood near the cave and scanned the clearing. She thought she detected movement in the bushes, but she wasn't sure. Making up her mind, she mentioned her suspicions to Dark Poet and T'lainya, noting as she did so that both seemed faintly dazed. ;) She guessed the cause, but decided, given her own recent actions that she had best say nothing.

"Georgi, stop talking like that. If anyone was close enough to you, we would of done the same thing. It could of been anyone of us, that pushed you out of the way." Kramor put his hand on Georgi's arm. "Don't worry Georgi, we will find him. He might talk like a sissy, but he doesn't fight like one. I respect him for his toughness and brains. Even though, I'm waiting for him to fall over with a swelled head." :D :D

Georgi punched Kramor playfully. "I guess I just miss him... and his swelled head." :p

{OOC: Heh!! *ahem* :D }

When Loner saw Kramor with Georgi, she knew { :D :p } that Georgi had been injured, and that Kramor was healing the wound. Loner drew a healing potion out of her pack and approached them. "Do you need this?" she asked, handing the bottle to Georgi.

Taking the healing potion out of Loner's hand. Then stuffing it in Georgi's hand.
"Er, um, yes she does. Now drink the potion, Georgi."

Hugging Loner, "I glad you are okay. You are okay, right?" :D

Loner, though always glad to hug Kramor :D , wondered why he was acting so oddly. She gently pulled away and looked at him with a puzzled expression. "Ye-es," she replied. But his tone had suggested he was concerned about her being all right aside from the battle, so she added: "Why wouldn't I be?"

"Just checking, I was worried that's all. Are you getting anymore visions of Thantor?"

Loner grinned. She had known all along. She looked directly into his eyes. "No...you thought I was jealous," she said, softly. She shook her head, still smiling. "Don't you know me?"

"Hmmm, lets see. I have my hand, in another woman's tunic. No jealous did not come to mind. Something more sharper did." Kramor held on to Loner's hands.

Loner laughed softly, in spite of herself. Also in spite of the rather serious look on Kramor's face. "Let's put it this way, I'm glad you're not a full-time physician," she said, laughter still quietly in her voice. She touched Kramor's face. "I trust you," she said. "I knew what was going on the moment I walked in here, and I felt your fear when you saw me. I also know that you are a healer, and that we've just been in combat, and that not all wounds occur in nice safe places."

She embraced him and leaned close to his ear. "Especially after the other night, at the ruins," she whispered, "how can I doubt you after that? Do you remember long ago, when we were at the Copper Coronet, and DP was worried you might break my heart, and I told you I trusted you with it? I still do, because I know you. And I trust you."

{OOC: Sorry, was rushing to school earlier :) .Edited my last post to blend in with the story.Btw, if there's still a long way to go, I'd suggest starting another thread soon }

Brink noted that the group had now been reduced to a party of four, with possibly one or two having injuries from the fight with the beast.Again, he could feel as if something was strangely familiar with them...as if he had seen them once upon a time before.

Then the idea strike him...could it be that they were the members of the Dark Flame who were based in Trademeet?But if that was so, then where is that dolt {OOC: sorry :p } Anomen?And why was that man treated like a comrade instead of a slave?"Ahh...it has been a long while since I've come anywhere close to civilization," Brink mused as he saw the party moved closer to the hole.

Almost instantly, his ranger instincts came back to him."I should at least go warn them about the danger of the place," Brink thought as he moved into the clearing, revealing himself in the process.He hailed the party, "Ho, adventurers! I can't help but notice that you intend to approach the hole over there," he pointed towards the hole

At the sound of the man's voice Dragon Wench started, and turned in his direction. Her muscles tensed and she held her sword as he approached.
"Who are you, and why have you been spying on us?"
Eying him warily, she took note of his appearance, he did not seem dangerous, but she was unsettled by the fact that the stranger had been scrutinizing them. She gazed at him, demanding an answer to her question.

While Kramor healed Georgi and spoke with Loner in the hole, and Dragon Wench, T'Lainya, and Darkpoet conversed, Gwalchmai's curiosity got the better of him. Wondering what the heck an Amorphia was, he moved to examine the body. He could see the masses of hacks and slashes caused mostly by Darkpoet's twin blades, but he also saw a single arrow buried deep in the creature's head. This might have been the deathblow, but it was fired by none of the Dark Flames. He grabbed the arrow, and was surprised to feel a slight shock of static electricity. Clearly the arrow had been enchanted to deliver powerful electrical damage. He turned the arrow slowly in his hand. The point was made of hardened gold, and was fletched with iridescent blue and white feathers of some tropical or mystical bird. Fine craftsmanship, evident even to Gwalchmai's untrained eye. It was definitely not an arrow carried by Georgi, Dragon Wench or any other Dark Flame.

{OOC:Okay,I did fire an arrow :p }

She does look familiar

Brink replied," I'm sorry, but I was hunting a foul beast ,namely, the one which you have just slained here, for days...." Brink paused for awhile, before replying," and that was when I stumbled upon you and your party"

Dragon Wench nodded.
"Yes, but you were observing us for some time, I saw movement in the bushes, why is that? And why have you been pursuing this beast for days."

She then softened her tone slightly, "I don't mean to sound rude, but we've all been through a lot lately, so I hope you understand the reason for these questions."

"I simply didn't want to reveal myself to a party which I know nothing of..."replied Brink."And besides, you were all doing pretty well by yourselves,"Brink managed to let out a smile as he said this

"This beast you see here.." Brink turned to look at the carcass,"... is no ordinary beast.Despite its evil appearance, it's flesh could be used to produce a potion that can cure every single poison or disease known to man."Brink paused for awhile as he looked at the stares of disbelief from the four adventurers before continuing,"This creature is both extremely rare and evasive; and they never travel alone"

"So I gather that there are more nearby then?"
Dragon Wench shuddered at the thought of more battles with creatures like this, antidotes or no.
Not quite so easily distracted, however, she again turned to the stranger,
"From where do you hail?" she asked still not trusting this man who seemed so unwilling to entirely explain his actions.

"Heh, I'm afraid you mistook what I said," Brink laughed a little as he explained," what I meant was that this creature never travels alone; it's always found accompanied by other kinds of undead.I assure you, you won't be facing another one of its kind for a long time..."

"As to who I am...," he paused once again,"...let's just say that I am the least of your troubles if you wish to descend into that hole behind you."Brink thought for awhile, and then continued," you, however, look strangely familiar to me..."
