Yshania is right on point, just look at the amount of filthy statements I have made since stepping down There is a level where one has to be unempeachable on issues, I couldn't just make one rule for one person and another for someone else, if they broke the rules then they broke the rules, it wasn't always easy and I didn't follow through on that always but I think I was reasnoably consistent.

Other than that one has to be able to scare Viv with your evil moderating and lay the smack down on pidgin

First off, I would like to thank Grunty for asocieating me with Hellfire and Chaos.

@All: No offense taken whatsoever. If I didn't know it about myself, I wouldn't have said it. Beside, being a Moderator of the other forums I already got it fine (though, I would like to take over the rest of the Roleplaying forums, just to keep me a tad more on the busy side.)

I think, as it stands, we don't really need another moderator. If things get out of hand, and we do end up needing another, my vote goes to the one with the most cookies

A bit late, but here are my two cents ...

I am very sorry to see Mr Sleep step down, though I can fully understand - I agree with some here who have asked: who would want to be a Mod? It must be a thankless job in many respects.

But, if we are going to go in for any kind of voting or nomination process, my vote would go to Gwalchmai. Some of the other people mentioned (like Gruntboy and HighLordDave) are awesome choices, but they both tend to get into political discussions. One thing I think is hard on a moderator, but should be strived for nonetheless, is that element of impartiality. I think it would be hard for a SYM member to be both Moderator and constant political/social/religious commentator. I see Gwalchmai only very seldom in such discussions, and AFAIR, his comments are always mild and minimal.

Anyhoo! All just IM(very)HO.
