Aye, i've already had my run at her. Be careful, lad. She's a sly one. Leave you heart-broken before you know what happened. Of course, if you don't succeed with her, there are always plenty of others pretties to "convert." But who knows, you might have just what she's lookin for.

Alright so my political career is a failure, however I was wondering if we go with a wing based economy (as I suggested in the Cash Flow thread) if a new post could be created dealing as a "finacal adviser" of sorts.
Eh

In reply to your signature, word. Is that from Monty Python and the Holy Grail? If so, shouldn't it be shrubbery?

Wow, I'm speechless, Nippy. I'd say that you won't regret this decision, but...
How about, "You won't regret this..., much."

1 - If you don't start out with Wisdom 15+ you won't be able to cast level 9 spells when they become available at level 17. Instead, you'll have to wait for level 20.
2 - Skills pale in comparison to other abilities in PnP, and that'll probably be magnified in NWN. Result: skill points are not needed in large numbers (Concentration skill and thieving stuff is all I expect them to be really good for), so don't "waste" too many points on Intelligence.
Of course, this is assuming that any CPRG will have some Diablo traits compared to PnP. Maybe (hopefully) the Argyle DMs will go big on checking your skill levels in various situations.

They won't become available at level 17 for me anyways, seeing as i'll have two thief levels. So i'd only have to wait one level to get those level nine spells.
All this of course considering i survive that long. And if i do, more than likely i will have acquired some wisdom enhancing items. So it's no worries my friend.

I know, I think I'm going to have to bite the bullet and go for that expensive 15th point....you're right, Joe, it doesn't matter so much if you aren't taking all cleric levels.
Xyx it's so kind of you, always watching out for the clerics

I'm hoping on Dec. 1st that Rhino and Co. will be able to announce the new pantheon of gods for Argyle, where many of us will be playing. I don't know if many of you noticed in the IRC Chat thread (on their boards) that they said there would be a big announcement and a number of changes around that date, but we're looking forward to it. Has anyone here had much desire to advance and roleplay in the religious organizations of Argyle, as well as the BotB? I figure a BotB member with close church ties could be a valuable asset to the guild. As Divine Blades, it will be interesting where we fit in to Argyle society as pallys and clerics, as well as where the Blades in general fit in.

yeah, I am very interested to find out how the pantheon is going to look and it would be great if the TATers announced that info in December. It's think its really important to the clerics and paladins (other characters too, but especially to us) to be able to conceptualize the character. I definitely plan on setting up my character as a orderly or other low level functionary of a good aligned church, so it would be great if that kind of membership was available to us.

I'm glad to see some activity in here!
I too want to see what Gods I can worship as a Paladin, it will be interesting to say the least...

Same here.
I want a god along the lines of justice but absolute moral justice, ie there is no grey area only right and wrong.
It will be a role playing challenge to see everything in black and white

Whoah - I'm glad I'm not gonna play that character (the first couple of times anyway

)
Absolute right and wrong?

Heh, heh! And I want the opposite. I want the greys and the problems that will cause me as a paladin.

Makes life interesting.

Absolutely! Welcome to both the Blades as a whole and to the Divine Wing in particular. I'm sure Nippy will give you the official greeting soon. Just smile, nod your head, and pretend you like it like the rest of us and you'll do fine.
Again, welcome!

Welcome to BotB.
I'm the guild cook. If you want a snack come over to the kitchen.
@Fas- Black and white? Won't that be really boring to play like that.
