One thing that I think would be cool is to include the republic in more with the game. Well that depends if you are light or dark side. I would like to see more planets and much larger cities. It would be nice to get some planets that are not with in the core or the outer rim at all. A larger party too, in some spots it would be mice to have a larger party.

Characters
Some of my favorite things from the first two games are:
Influence, having to gain a characters trust to learn more is great, it is also very addictive.
Turning party members into jedi/sith, like you are an academy, I think in the next game you should be like a jedi/sith talent scout going to planets to seek out force sensitives to train.
You should also be able to have two prestige classes (the second could be known as super prestige or something of the like) prestige: same as kotor II
super prestige:council member, main sith lord, anything else would be appreciated

I like the idea of it, but the way they made it isn't exactly what I would call smart. I mean, DS player does some charity and that's supposed to make others fall to the dark side? And even so they keep talking and acting like light siders? I think that when you do something to make an NPC like you, that's him influencing you, not the other way around.
If they make influence again,I hope they make it better than that.

1. First of all I would now like for you to have more classes than three. Some starters from KOTOR I and II. Then the new ones start to kick in!
Scoundrel
Scout
Soldier
Jedi Consular
Jedi Gaurdian
Jedi Sentinal
*NEW CLASSES!*
Jedi Craftsman - Specialty in skills
Jedi Ranger - Specialty in blasters
Jedi swordsman - Specialty in swords (Can be as strong as a lightsaber)
2. I would like to add a rank system to the game.
If you are Republic:
Army: Naval:
1. Cadet 1. Cadet
2. Lieutenant 2. Naval Officer
3. Lieutenant Captain 3. Captain
4. Captain 4. Lieutenant Captain
5. Major Captain 5. Major Captain
6. Major 6. Lieutenant Admiral
7. Bigadeer General 7. Major Admiral
8. General 8. Admiral
9. High General 9. High admiral
The Sith. (WHich is bassicly all of the above just with the word "sith" in front of them.) I think in order to acheive ranks you need to do certain amounts of quests. Achieving a rank gives you the privelage to level, when also giving you a certain level to order someone. I was thinking that the game should be based on a war. So depending on your rank, the people on the battlefield will obey you or not. The rest of you already said the things I wanted so I just wanted to bring only this up.

As said in the following thread
http://www.gamebanshee.com/forums/star-wars-knights-of-the-old-republic-iii-97/little-droid-85433.html being able to make your own remote droids would be an excellent feature for the melee fans out there who require some cover fire. This feature would be perfect for those who are ranged fanatics who wish to add more lasers to their laser bombardments. As for me, a computer freak in KOTOR, a remote droid would be perfect for "singeing the pants of annoying techs".

It's a good idea but it doesn't make much sense, because don't the Jedi consider blasters to be uncivilized?

I think that class should be under a non-Jedi one. Would be nice to see a class which specialises in ranged weaponry.

Jedis focuses a lot on the lightsaber so seeing a Jedi specialising in weapons other than a lightsaber would look out of place, in my opinion.

but u can get feats so u can be great in ranged weapons

I think lightsaber should be more important for Jedi. In the movies when they lose the lightsaber their abilities are severely reduced. They even use it to save from Force powers. Only yoda was able to counter Force powers without it, and in game everyone is doing it. Also, I don't know if anyone noticed, but Freyr's warblade makes more damage then a lightsaber, wich is absurd. And I want to be able to make it (not by talking to a technician or by choosing the color, but just like anything else).

More planets, more planets, more planets, larger cities, more cities, larger cities, more cities, more sith, more jedi, and a storyline that actually goes by what your aligment is. also more companion choices, I got pretty tired of having full darksided characters preaching about how killing a shop keeper is bad. Give me some evil people if I'm gonna play evil and some goody to shoes if I'm gonna be a wimp(jk about the wimp remark don't take offense to it lightsiders  ) Give me a better ship, more lightsabers, more quests, a better storyline something longer than 4-5 planets. oh and did I mention more planets with larger cities?

If anything being able to pick your party regardless. Its the basic idea of almost any RPG where you have ally NPCs. I definitely agree about a DS character shouldn't talk about the evilness of killing someone. On the other hand I'd like to hire a devout LS who travels with me and I'm DS just to see them squirm. Be like - I don't think you should have done that, and then I kill them and get a new ally.

We should all send the creaters an email each with ideas for KOTOR III and then the creaters, I do it sometimes and they email me back sometimes so it's worth a try. I know I for one have a bunch of ideas for example: Being able to attack any one you want as someone sallready suggested. Being able to pick more then a human as a charecter. No level limit and being able to continue the game after you have finished the story. I could go on for ever, but seriously email lucas arts an others and tell them want we want, or else all these ideas will go to waste. L8'er guys!
how about you tell us the accual e mail adress

In the original plan of the game Bao-Dur dies yes. In the restoration he is set to die also. However in the released game by Microsoft they never show him die. I'm going to go with
that version of the game and say He Can be in KOTOR III.

As did Mission in 1, in certain games...
On a side note, I think I've said it before, but I think the whole issue of how they handle the unfinished parts of K2 will be really interesting. Like, which version do they go off? The planned or the released? Or will they just ignore all those parts?

Good points you brought up there. These are also the main reasons why open-ended games are never good candidates for sequels, as what I mentioned previously many times. Had they chosen the route Lionhead did with Fable 2 (set it 500 years after the events of Fable), the developers wouldn't have such a troublesome task ahead of them.
Another idea I had for some time is the idea of that if a team member dies (not scripted. Died in combat), he/she will not be available anymore. Got this idea from some of Tom Clancy's games like the Rainbow Six series and the Ghost Recon series to name a few.
