Morning, Rav.

Hi Fiona.
How are you today?

Surprisingly well. I wouldn't go so far as to say enforced sobriety is a good thing, but it does improve the quality of morning quite noticeably
Are you going to start a thread to enter for DW's challenge?

by Ravager
Haha. Yeah, I'm sure it does.
I may do, I can't think of a 'serious' topic at the moment though. It's rare for me to post threads themselves...
I updated that game again, improving the scoring, adding another trap and generally slowing the game down, but the website that lets people download seems to be having technical difficulties.

Rav, I don't think it
has to be a serious topic. Nonsense will do. Lord knows I post enough like that.
It would be good if more people did start threads. It is nice to have different things to think about from time to time. (Well I think it is, but then I do quite a lot of it, so I'm bound to say that). But sometimes there is only one thread active. That is not a bad thing, but if you happen not to be engaged at the time there is nowhere to go. And it might be a bit "in-group" from time to time. Or maybe it isn't. Just a random thought
Sounds like you have made a lot of progress without help on that

It's not that I'm against the idea of new threads, I've just never been that good at starting them, a kind of reluctance I suppose.
I can post the odd joke of course, I still have a couple of those lying around, I think.
Well, I had quite a lot of help on Thursday on the scoring system in particular. I also managed to include a random start for the bunnies, though that messes up the timing on the whole and I'm not sure how, if it can, be fixed.

Well it can't be forced, of course. And I do usually enjoy your jokes
Can't think why you would be reluctant. This is a great thread and the SF (joint I know) is universally acknowledged to be a winner. Seems you have talent in that direction
Yes I know you got some help on Thursday. But you have done a lot since then and you were off yesterday weren't you? I am confident you'll find ways around that. *acknowledges this is worth less than nothing in any practical sense. But doesn't care*

Hmm, I may post one later on...
I can't really explain it, it's partly because I can't think of a topic (like I don't keep track of the news anywhere near the amount of time I used to...or probably should) and I suppose quite a few of the threads I make end up unreplied because they're too focused on one thing or I haven't explained it in an easily understandable way. *shrugs*
It's easier to post
in a thread, than it is to post
a thread, or at least it is for me.
I appreciate the support.
Yeah, I'll think of something. Technically, I think I already have something that would get me a good grade already, I just keep adding things to it. Hopefully, I'm not neglecting my other coursework too much.

Bah, if I can do it........
~Edit. You have as good a record of replies as anybody. I checked

And if folk aren't interested then they aren't. So long as you are it shouldn't really matter (though I know that is not quite the truth; it should be)
I doubt you'll neglect your other work, Rav. But I must admit you achieve an awful lot in not much time. I don't know how you fit in breathing. Is there any part of making the new forum that you can use for credit? You and Slade did a lot there too

Heh. I wish I could. The part of the forum design I've mostly been involved is the graphic design, Slade did most of the work on the coding side (I think he felt guilty after your joking 'slave driver' remark on HoL and wanted to contribute more than he had).
The coursework I'm doing is more based upon coding, different coding to the type used to make websites, unfortunately.
I wonder if I could put it on a CV though...

Oh dear. I hope I didn't upset him. I was only teasing
Bound to be fit for a CV at least. It does look really good. I liked your fiery dragon, btw

I'm alright, I've been away... doing work and the like, and in a couple of weeks we have our first lot of exams

.
So did I miss anything?
Oh, and is there a short list of the award winners... rather than 29 pages of spam?
