Vivien carried the tray towards Darkpoet's room, and found him in the tub covered by bubbles.
"How are you tonight?" She asked softly.
He didn't answer, and she wondered if he was still sleeping. Lifting the towel from his face she gave him a quick kiss on the cheek before heading slowly back to the kitchen.

Gwalchmai suddenly realized that Vivien had run off to get some food for Darkpoet. He wanted to tell her to be sure and get some cheese for him, but she had been gone a good ten minutes already. He hadn’t even spoken since then. He kept thinking of the water, flowing down curves, dangerous curves. He knew that the images that had been burned into his brain would be with him for a long time to come. He could see himself as an old man, still thinking happy little thoughts about this night. Even ‘just friends’ can bring him fulfillment.
Happily, he continued scrubbing Dragon Wench's back...

T’lainya was shown to a room and proceeded to remove her armor. She rubbed her forehead tiredly and frowned when she saw the streak of dirt her hand left. She wanted to get a bath, but didn’t want to disturb any of the others. Finding an unoccupied room and tub, she sank into it, washing away the blood and dirt from the earlier adventures. Regretfully, she pulled herself out of the tub. Dressing herself in a formal robe of the clergy, blue shot through with silver, T’lainya walked downstairs. She quietly avoided the others, slipping outside to a courtyard. The spell she was thinking of was one she had rarely had occasion to use. The powers did not like to be bothered for trivialities, no matter the import to the petitioner. Still, she thought, if anyone could help her quickly, the gods could. She was unhappy and worried by the escalation of the demons power over Darkpoet.

When Vivien returned from ministering to Dark Poet she found Gwalchmai and Dragon Wench in the kitchen. Vivien and Dragon Wench headed to the wine cellar while the druid obligingly ferreted around and found smoked Italian sausage, fresh oysters on the half shell, a baguette, half a round of Brie and spring artichokes. As he was thus engaged the women brought up several bottles of Merlot, and another bottle of champagne. The scents of food soon mingled enticingly with the mysterious essential oils worn by the diaphanously attired Dark Flames.
Soon all was ready. Gwalchmai sat down at the table uncertainly. Dragon Wench winked at Vivien, and leapt lightly on Gwalchmai's lap (just slightly tired from the hot tub). Vivien commented on how appetizing their repast looked and began to feed tidbits of food to the recumbent druid. Dragon Wench softly began to tell a story. “Once upon a time,” she whispered……
The candles had burned low and the trio reposed upon the low banquet benches surrounding the table. Vivien’s eyes met those of Dragon Wench. Dipping a strawberry into some whipped cream, Dragon Wench sidled alongside Gwally and deftly placed the succulent fruit into his mouth, while Vivien nimbly slipped the Ring of Swift Recovery on his finger. A dazed, but suddenly energetic, expression graced Gwalchmai’s handsome features. Clearing his throat, he said…….., “Um don’t you think that perhaps we should create some privacy?”
Vivien gently pushed Gwally back and a Dragon Wench went to close the door. The only sounds heard were slight giggles emanating from the closed off kitchen.

Letting the light of the crescent moon shine over her, the priestess concentrated and started the prayer. The pendant at her neck, the symbol of her faith, served as a focal point for her consciousness. She felt the power building within her, the sense of connection almost unbearable. Then she felt the world drop away from her, a huge sense of change and the presence. T’lainya opened her eyes calmly, the figure before her was not what she had expected. The elf before her was tall and muscular, long dark hair hanging loose, the great black bow at his side matching the grim expression. The priestess knelt before the avatar.
“Lord Sheverash, I did not expect to have one of the Seladarine answer me at all, much less to be honored with a divine presence.”
The avatar of the demigod stared down at the woman, silent for a long moment. Then he spoke, more gently than T’lainya would have believed. “I know what you wish priestess of the Coronal. You serve the people well; as a feywarden you have shown skill in dealing with …troublesome situations. The paladin is important to one of my favored followers. He is also bound to the fates of these others. I will not tell you of your fate however, well you know the danger inherent in that. The questions you ask, I will answer. But be aware lady, I will expect you to return this boon one day.”
T’lainya spoke quietly and reverently. ”I will gladly repay this favor to thee, if it be within my power.”
The avatar nodded and spoke a single name. “Galith’dar.”
T’lainya felt the name echo through her head, causing a horrible pain. The name and title of the demon would aid in its banishment. She was aware of the demigod’s power flowing through her, the words of a new spell imprinting themselves on her mind. Then she had the sensation of falling back into her body. The priestess felt the world change around her, barely aware of the cool earth her cheek rested on. She was dimly aware she was lying on the ground, her hand clenched around a scroll. Dizziness overtook her and the world went black as she fainted.

Darkpoet had gotten out of the tub and put on clean clothes and new boots. He was glad to get rid of the stench of blood. When he walked out into the courtyard, T'lainya was lying on the ground. Darkpoet went quickly over to her, seeing she had passed out. He gently picked her up, not knowing where her room was, he took her to his. Gently putting her on the bed, he got a towel with cool water and put it on her forehead. He sat in a chair, watched her, and changed the towel, from time to time. Darkpoet leaned back and closed his eyes.

OOC: ROTFL! After taking two cold showers, and one ice bath, I believe I can focus enough to write something.
Thantor slammed into the ground, his assailants taking the brunt of the fall. He quickly came up on one knee, slamming the shaft of his mace into the throat of the orc on his right. Raising the mace in his left hand as a guard, he swung up and to the left with the mace in his right, catching the rising orc in the chest. He felt a wall of pain explode at the back of his head, then all was black.
He slowly came back to consciousness, as if diving up from a deep pool. When he broke the surface, there was only throbbing pain and brightness. Gradually, he began to orient himself. The floor was rough and filthy. Shadows and light cast by the torches overhead wriggled upon it like maggots on a bloated corpse. The stench of rotting things filled his nostrils and he buried his head in shoulder to keep from gagging. As he did so, he felt a metal band around his throat and a stinging sensation under his chin were it had cut into his neck as he hung there unconscious. Lifting his head slightly, he appeared to be in a large stone room. He could see what appeared to be half eaten carcasses in the dim torchlight and two or three cages hanging from the ceiling, before he had to drop his head again. He was chained in the standing position by the wrists and ankles. His head ached and it was difficult to organize his thoughts. After a time, he was able to focus enough to do some breathing exercises, which brought his pain under somewhat better control. Then he tried to sense what was happening around him. As he began to manifest clairvoyance, the collar burned into his neck like branding iron. Thantor screamed in pain and then again lost consciousness.

Loner wandered aimlessly throught the Keep, taking a slow stroll. THere wasn't much else she could do at this point. Thantor had vanished; but to where? To another plane, or simply another location in the prime material?...
Thantor was like a father to Loner. (Which was probably the reason why she had reacted so strongly to his...appearance with Georgi that day

) She sighed, looking out over the topmost parapet into the distance. How was she to find out where he had gone?...and where was Kramor, anyway?
She turned back down the worn steps and went to look for him.

Georgi was pacing her room, when out of the corner of her eye she saw Loner walk past her open door. She ran after her. "Loner? We need to talk."
Loner nodded. "How are we going to find Thantor?"
Georgi sighed. "If I had any idea, I'd be gone already, I feel so useless just sitting around here... but I want to be here until this whole affair with Darkpoet is sorted out as well. I'm going crazy, doing nothing."

{OOC @Thantor, well I do seem to recall reading somewhere that writing is therapeutic....

}
IC:
Bird song drifted in through the open window. Dragon Wench stirred. As she slowly gained a state of wakefulness, the throbbing in her head increased.
"How much did I drink last night," she wondered.
She then blearily gazed around her room and noted that it was in considerable disarray, and that two sleeping forms were sprawled nearby. At that, she started, and then she remembered the events of the evening before. She recalled that eventually they had all moved her room, Gwalchmai's was too small, and her's was closer to the kitchen. Despite the ache spreading through her temples and neck, she slowly smiled. There was nothing like a night's revelry to drive out shadows, Dragon Wench mused.
Sunlight began to illuminate the room, which made the headache worsen. Idly, Dragon Wench thought that perhaps she should find Thantor and ask if he had any hangover cures. Then she paused, Thantor......had dissapeared the night before. Guilt stabbed at her conscience; while they had been cavorting the night away, Thantor had been spirited off to who knew where. And what of Dark Poet and the elven woman she had briefly met the night before. She decided to wake her companions; Dragon Wench walked to the corner of her room where she kept her mandolin. Gently she began to play.

When Darkpoet woke, he saw T'lainya, was still sleeping. He removed the towel, from her forehead and covered her with a blanket. Darkpoet went down stairs, to start breakfast. Scrambled eggs with bits of bacon, english muffins, fruit platter with melon, strawberries, oranges, grapefruit wedges. And anything else they wanted, also his hangover cure drink. It's a sercet recipe.

T’lainya awoke completely disoriented, she was aware of something cool and damp on her forehead. She tried to open her eyes and was hit with an overwhelming feeling of vertigo. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. The smell of cooking food tantalized her nostrils. Her body felt refreshed, and her mind started clearing. She knew she had to speak with everyone, the sooner the better. She splashed water on her face and made her way to her room. She changed quickly and made her way down the stairs.

Dragon Wench smelled food cooking and more importantly, freshly-brewed coffee. Vaguely she remembered that Dark Poet had a secret hangover cure, she hoped it was him doing the cooking. Vivien and Gwalchmai were waking up; neither seemed pleased to come to consciousness, and both groaned as the same nasty headache made itself felt. Dragon Wench smiled.
"Dark Poet is downstairs, I think, and I smell coffee. We should try and wake up, there are things that need to be attended to."
After a few moments the trio made their way into the kitchen where Dark Poet was standing at the stove and smirking broadly.

Darkpoet sat in the corner, leaning back on his chair. Sharpening his dagger, just to do something. Then the words came to his head.
Singing outloud.
"Bestow upon me knowledge
Wizard-all knowing all wise
I want to rule this kingdom
Make sweet the breeze now defiled
Dethrone the evil prince's Iron fists
In velvet gloves of sin
Parade the grey robed monks
The vestal virgins, wheel the wyvern's in
Let the ceremony
consecrate the marriage
Let me be the protege
Of five magics
Give me alchemy
Wizardry
Sorcery
Thermatology
Electricity
Magic if you please
Master all of these
Bring him to his knees
I master five magics
Possessed with hellish torment
I master magics "5"
Hunting the abyss lord
Only one will stay alive
He who lives by the sword
Will surely also die
Will surely live the lie"
"GOOOOOD MORNING YOU GUYS, ISN'T IT A GREAT MORNING? " Darkpoet yelled, smiling at them.

The volume of Dark Poet's greeting reverberated in their heads. Gwalchmai, scowling, snuck up behind Dark Poet and grabbed the blade that was being sharpened. He held it near Dark Poet's throat.
"I suggest you find that hangover cure, otherwise you won't have to worry about any demon," he growled.

T'lainya heard Darkpoets shout with some surprise. She looked at the groaning trio in front of her and shook her head, trying to supress a giggle.
"Good morning everyone." She spoke softly with a look at Darkpoet, and sat down at the table.
