Seeing how I don't mess with my avatar much, I doubt my avatar will appear with a hat on it, but I would like to share stage 1 of my Christmas decorating with all of you.

My objective is to stick so many lights on the house that it can be seen from space. This is a picture I took of the house right after Turkey Day, and I have since framed the roof with multi-coloured lights, as well as strung them across two trees in the front yard, some bushes off to the right of the garage and added some garland with lights on a dusk-to-dawn light we have in the front yard.

I will post another picture when I am done with the house, but I have a few (hundred) more lights to put up, and sadly I was delayed by this latest blast of snow and ice that blew through here this week. The temperature is supposed to be a balmy 45°F tomorrow, so I am hoping to get everything done by Sunday.

So just because my avatar isn't sporting a Santa hat, don't think that there's no Christmas cheer in the High Lord.
