I agree with @Sleep's remarks. I'd like to thank all those who got me to this point, today, including everybody here in SYM, and Jane Fonda, whose Academy Award comments during the Vietnam War were ridiculous, but who certainly looked great in Cat Ballou and Barbarella. (Does anyone else recall that Bruce Springsteen's song, "Love to Watch Her Strut," was written about her?) Sorry, feeling a bit frisky this morning. Anyway, where was I...?

I knew this was going to be a party but I had no idea. It's amazing how many votes you can get when you're the Timothy Leary of SYM. I must confess I don't recognize any of you and I'm not responsible for anything I type.
**stares at Britney breasts as they begin to spontaneously inflate and deflate** Uh Grunt, you're needed on the stage after all.
I guess I had better start by thanking my workplace, for without it, I would not be standing here today. It's amazing how much free time one has when computer and network services run optimally. I would also like to thank the U.K. for all the fine beverages they produce. Bioware/BIS deserves some thanks because without Shadows of Amn, I probably wouldn't have found this place. To Bloodstaker, for giving me a place to put my still and McBane, for keeping me out of jail many times. Finally, to all my drunken witty SLURR's and cohorts in SYM, who help drain my still and consistenly answer my drunken ramblings.

Begins to make his way to accept his award....mumbling to himself something to the effect of finally some recognitoion...
takes the podium and begins to make his speech.....
I would like the thank Ned for his shine, it was the backbone of the tavern....McBane for the pills and the legal aid....all the ladies of SYM for their beauty and inspiration.. you are each and every one special
suddenly the mood changes as he takes a long pull of Ned's shine. The crowd is shocked as he begins a tirade against everyone from other boards that have banned him in the past to those who saught the demise of his tavern. He begins to swat at the imaginary bunnie cursing and booing at him. Then his eyes go red as his alter ego takes over. His posture bends over, and a wild glaze comes into his eyes. Suddenly, he screams in a rage and pulls his slingshot from his pockets, waving it threateningly at the crowd and presenters.
A nurse appears and injects somethin into the old mans arms. He cackles wildly as he launches a rock at her, the turns around and moons both the nurse and the crowd.
Suddenly, the old man collapses onstage, as several white coated men carry him off.

*grumble grumble* My Breathing Room tavern was just as frequented as 'Neutrality' and how does Ned get considered a newcomer when he joined the same time as me?!? *grumble grumble*

It may have somthing to do with the fact that BS tavern was the most recent one. People who drink much tend to have a rather short memory.Originally posted by Yshania

To clear matters up, I started the original thread in a response to SYM needing some chilling area on the board, this was shortly after September 11th. This thread got way too big and T'l closed me down, but around the corner she opened a new tavern in memory of. Sometime later, this tavern was also overused and overtrashed...tempting Sleepy to lock the doors and open New Lungs The total spam *ahem* conversational posts in those combined threads exceeded 3000 - nearer 4k IIRC
