Hi everyone, I wasn't sure what to do with my 1000th post, so I decided to create a dictionary based on a random comment by Waverly and inspired by Brinks guide I noticed reading everyones posts, that there are some things we all do on a regular basis. I didn't include myself..so I imagine someone will come up with something.To anyone I left out, either I didn't feel I knew you well enough or I just messed up
Please keep in mind this is a joke and not meant to be offensive to my friends who are the basis for these definitions.
To Ubik..to randomly hit the keyboard, creating acronyms with no known meaning
ex. He ubiked the keyboard.
To Weasel..to create strange situations, usually involving mechanical mayhem.
ex He totally weaseled his ISP
To Dwimmerlaik..to elegantly use an impressive vocablary to flame/spam
ex..he dwimmerlaiked the newbie again
To Grunt..to turn any subject into porn
ex he managed to grunt up my topic
To Waverly/Vale to deliberately misquote another member; to deliberately misspell anothers name for humorous/insulting purposes
ex. You not only waverlyed my post, but you valed my name too
To Minerva..to create a state of serenity
ex With one post , she minervad the whole board
To Flagg..to flirt uncontrollably
ex. he was flagging every female member
Melosh..a potentially self hazardous situation
ex He just pulled a melosh by flaming Ubik..
To Chrissy to cause members of the opposite sex to appear as soon as you post; to be accused of causing members of the opposite sex to appear
ex look she chrissied again, all the guys just signed on
To Brink..to maintain a neutral position
ex I'm going to brink on that subject
To Lexi ..to send all male posters to their knees
ex she really lexied them
To (Mr.) Sleep . ..to spam and disappear
ex He was going to get flamed but he pulled a Mr Sleep
and finally
To Baassie..to completely screw up
ex..he baassied and got banned
