It depends what LEVEL your cleric IS.
If the nasties are HIGH level and your man is LOW level you WILL have PROBLEMS.Also turn off ai before TURNING on turn undead so the cleric wont ATTACK the nasties INSTEAD of turning THEM. Image Image Image

Yeah, you're AI is on. The cleric will turn undead automatically with his AI script on.

To do it manually, turn AI off or change the script. Clerics have a skull icon they can click on or off to turn undead.

Evil clerics Control instead of destroying at high levels (it advances with levels). Note, the higher the UD, the more difficult to turn.

No, no. I really don't know anything about A-Team and Mr. Tea Image (if it is not the big man from the serial from TV). I am from Czech Republic (which is in the heart of Europe).

turning undaed can be quite effective I played a cleric n(level 21) the firts time and she was capable of turning vampires in an instant. I just walked around in bodys lair and watched how pieces of undead were flying around. as said by kopywrite it doesnt work if you are preforming other actions.

Just make sure your Turn Undead icon is highlighted - ie. you're not attacking, then walk near the Undead. At lvl 12 you'll regularly explode low-level Undead like Shadows. Around lvl 14 you'll explode Wraiths. Around lvl 18-20, you'll even explode liches before they can get a Time Stop off. This is assuming that your cleric is good or neutral. If your cleric is evil, then he/she will take control of the Undead, instead.

What happened here was the gradual habituation of the people, ... to receiving decisions deliberated in secret; to believing that the situation was so complicated that the government had to act on information which the people could not understand, or so dangerous that, even if he people could understand it, it could not be released because of national security.

I've played pure cleric very long time and I know that on the higher levels the turning undead ability is very powerful - I was able to kill some vampires, crypt king or even lich (21level priest of helm).

It is always convenient to have the cleric in your party - even if undeads aren't turned they may be forced to escape.

BTW, It is always pleasure to meet our neighbours (I'm from Poland).

@ TermiX - And if Viconia's your cleric you end up with some new allies Image

Mr. T also runs a problem page here in the UK and he likes using CAPITALS to EMPHASIZE different THINGS. Thats why I thought HE might be YOU or perhaps ONE of your ASSOCIATES Image Image Image

jeez I type like a donkey sometimes..

It can be fun using Viconia's turned "allies" against other undead, and watch them kill one another. This also frees up your party for more strategic moves, like spells and potions.
To the Righteous belong the fruits of violent victory. The rest of us will have to settle for warm friends, warm lovers, and a wink from a quietly supportive universe.

Yup and it keeps switching which undead are turned, so general chaos breaks out... once a nasty has been attacked by another nasty it,ll keep fighting the same target even if its back on the same side.

I don't think so. I think it only depends on your lvl and the lvl of the undead thing.
Vicsun, I certainly agree with your assertion that you are an unpleasant person. ~Chanak
