Yaga-Shura's army.

Do they continue spawning, or does it stop at some point in time?

They continue spawning until Yaga-Shura is defeated.

...You sure? I think they eventually stop, leaving you alone to deal with Yaga-Shura and his party.

I could be wrong, but I tried waiting at the beginning of the bridge for some ten minutes and kept getting attacked by soldiers and fire giants.

Groovy. I was just wondering, since I've been having a bit of trouble actually getting the bastard to die. 5 Greater Whirlwind Attacks with Axe of the Unyielding and Crom Faeyr in Minscs lvl 34 hands combined with 3 Comets and 3 Horrid Wiltings from Imoen hasn't even gotten him below "Barely injured". I don't seem to recall having to deal with this kind of crap on my previous run through the game. Back then he was already at "Injured" after two Whirls. The only mods I've gotten since then are the Banter Pack and Romances... hmm...

Try dealing damage more slowly. Trolls won't die if you attack them too fast, you interupt the falling animation. Maybe Yaga-Shuara is the same.

Dealing damage more slowly. That's a new one. :D

I think I know what you mean. But it's not like they deal out obscene amounts of damage at once. It's a fairly decent amount each time in like 10 attacks. Not exactly über, but potentially enough to drop Firkraag-like opponents, or something like that. My party has the same weapons and levels like the previous time, sort of. Hrrrrrmmmm......

For this fight, aswell as ascension one, Flail of Ages is the anti-Yaga Shura weapon ;) If you have a cleric then Harm is your spell (after greater malision and doom).

As for his army, they stop spawning eventually.. when the game laggs as hell cause of all the equipment on the ground. In phase 2 however, you face only Yaga and his party.

You did make sure that Yaga is no longer "Invincable" right?????????

In other words there is something you have to do after taking out Gromnir before you would actually be able to kill Yaga.

Oops: I see you've played through before so you already know that. I think last time I cast Dragon's breath with Nalia and Imoen and had my PC cast Holy Smite while Saerileth and Sarevok were greater whirlwinding him and he pretty much died right away. Not sure what levels we were at but I hadn't doen watchers keep so probably only high 20's.
:) Once again time to give someone the boot to make room for Coran. LOL :)
