Since the last time we checked, the developers at KING Art Games have released several Kickstarter updates for The Dwarves, their upcoming crowdfunded isometric RPG based on the fantasy novels from Markus Heitz. While some of these updates deal with the nitty gritty of Kickstarter reward redemption and stretch goal surveys (update 14 and 15), the developers have also kept us updated on their progress with screenshots and videos (see update 16, 17 and 18).
Backers who pledged at the appropriate reward tiers have already had the chance to try a very early alpha build of the title too, and a second one is slated to be released in mid-March (the rough time window spans from March 14th to March 27th). This new alpha build will include a "Pause and Play" option, a bevy of new graphical features, and support for Mac and Linux systems.
