I enjoyed every Divinity games more than any Ultima games. None of the gold box games made the list. I don't have too many complaints about the list, but it's missing some games imo.

I wish they made a video game out of this. There are few things I'd rather have (games wise) than an rpg taking place in Icewind Dale. A dungeon crawler would be great, but a more Baldur's Gate-y experience would be even better.

I distinctly remember my thoughts after the initial couple of hours, that this game is a testament to everything I can't stand in modern RPGs. Self-indulgent power fantasy story and setting - check; WoW ripoff visuals - check; MMO style kill/fetch quests - check; colorful flashy combat effects - check; three classes - check; magic spells consisting of fire, frost and lightning - check; inventory-clutter-based crafting system that is redundant in lower levels and completely broken when mastered- check; gated area system /neither open-world nor map-based/ -check; huge world for the sake of being huge - check and finally armor and weapon models looking like your character is wearing the proverbial kitchen sink - check.

One of my coworkers says that anytime she is frustrated or stressed out.
