The pages of this journal are worn, and many of them have been ripped away. Several of the entries near the end, however, remain intact. This seems to have been the journal of a man named Peter who lived in the now-abandoned house with his wife, Maria, and his son, Martin. He describes an infestation of spiders that grew steadily worse to the point that they were beginning to get scared, and in the last entry, Peter writes that he is going to go down into the basement - where the spiders seem to be coming from - and see if he can plug up whatever hole the arachnids are coming through.
