| This book is almost slimy and wet to the touch, its cover made of sharkskin and its leathery pages bound together with kelp. It glows with the wavery blue shade of the deep ocean. It is not entirely known from where this book from and how it was made - some propose that a wizard crafted it to draw himself closer to the elements; others suggest it came from the dangerous goddess Umberlee; and still more theorize it was crafted by a civilization beneath the waves to protect those of their kin who chose to travel on land. Whatever its origin, its power is obvious. |
