| A next-generation firearm, the LS-66 Laser Rifle is a prototype, constant-beam, battlefield laser weapon, designed for engagements against enemy infantry and light armor. The weapon has limited range and a long reload time, and is somewhat cumbersome compared to ballistic weapons. However, the rifle's single, constant beam of powerful energy can penetrate low-density obstacles and cover to deliver damage directly to concealed targets. |
