OBJECTIVE UPDATE

- EXPLORE FACILITY: Investigate the entire facility.

- LOCATE HAVOK: Find and talk to him.


INFUSION TRIALS RUINS

From the start you can either go straight or to the left. Go straight. Continue to the third room and you'll find the SABATOGE 402 DANGER ROOM DISC. Make a left and head forward. You'll come to an Xtraction Point. Break the wall ahead to move on and make a left down the hall. At the end of the hall you'll come to a room with a "dead" machine. Use your Optic Blast to jump start it. Head to the door on the opposite end. You'll come to a hall. The exit is to the left, but don't go yet. Instead, head forward into a large room and make right. Head to the end and you'll come to a door that won't open. Next to it is another dead machine. Use your Optic Blast and the door will open. Go into the room and in the back corner you'll find some free XP. Head back to the exit.


OBJECTIVE UPDATE

- DEFEAT HAVOK: Defeat him.


LAB SUPPORT RUINS

Head forward and follow the path until you come to a dead machine. Use your Optic Blast and move on to a second dead machine. Again, use your Optic Blast. Havok will appear and after a quick cutscene a fight begins. Your mutant powers won't do any damage to him, nor will his damage you. BUT, the knockbacks into walls and other objects will. Use Cyclops' Optic Sweep to push Havok back into walls or explosive cannisters. When up close, regular melee fighting can be difficult as Havok will use his powers to knock you back. Instead, when up close, grab him and throw him against the wall or into other objects. Make use of the explosive cannisters in the area to take him out. After enough damage is done to Havok, Wolverine appears and ends the fight. Both Wolvie and Havok now join your team, but you cannot control either of them yet. From the room where you fought Havok, move to the next. Go down the stairs and up the ones on the other end. Continue forward and the path will curve to the right. Follow it through to the next room. Break the glass and jump down to the lower "pit" area. Head up the stairs on the far left side to exit this section.


HAVOK JOINS THE PARTY

Wolverine now becomes controllable, but Havok is still (and will remain) AI only. You start off next to an Xtraction Point. Head down the hall and continue forward till you come to a large room. There's a barrier to the right so move forward to the far end of the room then make a right and come around to the other side. An energy draining machine will block your path. Continue forward into the next room. Another energy draining machine is to the left. Head forward however to the far end of the room and you'll see a door to another room. Go through it and use the barrier controls. Then go the back corner of the room and pick up the NIGHTCRAWLER CHALLENGE DANGER ROOM DISC. Head back out and make a right and go through the door to the next section.


D-BLOCK RUINS

Head forward until you come to a fork in the road. Head to the right. You'll come to an energy draining machine. One of the guards here also holds a keycard you'll need to move on. The FOCUS 401 DANGER ROOM DISC is also located here. Continue around and go through the door. The pipe will burst and a huge flame will obstruct your path. Use Cyclops' Optic Blast to seal it shut and move on. Go through the door on the left. Make a right into the next room and through the door on the far end. Head to the room ahead and destroy the wall on the left to move on. Continue following the path until you come a large room with a glowing thing in the far corner. This is the Astral Gate. A quick cutscene will occur to explain it. Afterwards, continue on and you'll come to an energy draining machine. Past it is the exit.


OBJECTIVE UPDATE

- FREE THE MUTANTS: Open the cellblocks to free them (2 Total).


HOLDING CELLS

Ahead is an Xtraction Point. Head down the path on the right. Contnue forward into the room. Destroy the wall on the left to move on and make a right. continue heading forward and the path will turn right. You'll come to an open area with an upper level and cells with mutants held captive. There are quite a number of guards here and once you lose either Cyclops or Wolverine, you're out of luck, as you can't revive anyone in this level. So try and fight one or two guards at a time. Don't rush into the fights. Let them come to you as much as possible. Most of the guards are also physical resistant making Wolvie almost useless. Take advantage of any explosive cannisters lying around. Continue to follow the lower level path around until you come to a stairway. Beware of the guards on the upper level, as some of them have guns and take shots at you from above. Fighting under the walkways keeps them from making you easy targets. Once you get to the stairs, head up them and make a right. You'll come to an energy draining machine. Continue forward and you'll come to a walkway. Follow the walkway around until it ends. Once it ends continue forward and make a right as soon as you can and continue around the corner and you'll find the the first of two cellblock control panels. Head back from where you came but keep move around to the other side. The second control panel will be to your left. Keep heading forward till you reach the end and you'll find the WEAPON X LAB SKETCH BOOK. Head back around to the opposite end for the exit.
