Melee Weapons
A Severed Arm (View Item)

You really haven't experienced combat until you've beaten someone with a disembodied arm. Look for this gory weapon in the disturbing areas of Gimble's Prosthetics in the Santa Monica district. If you missed it there, you'll also be able to pick it up later on in the sewers.

Baseball Bat (View Item)

The baseball bat isn't a heavy damage dealer, but it's quick and has a tendency of knocking your foes to the ground. This weapon can be found all over the place, but is first obtained during the game's tutorial. Swing away!

Baton (View Item)

If you have one of these in your possession, it means you've killed a police officer and looted his carcass.

Bush Hook (View Item)

Who ever thought a gardening tool could inflict so much damage? Too bad it isn't available from the weapon merchants until late in the game after you've completed the Glaze Nightclub in the Chinatown district.

Fire Axe (View Item)

My personal favorite, although I'm not really sure where I picked my first one up. The Ocean House Hotel, maybe? Regardless, it won't be far into the game before you can simply buy this from the various weapon merchants.

Katana (View Item)

A good damage dealer from the Far East, but you won't be able to obtain one until you reach Tseng's in the Chinatown district.

Knife (View Item)

Like the description says, this weapon is best used for a malicious purpose. Not the best melee weapon out there, but it's extremely fast. You can get yourself one of these right away at Trip's Pawnshop in the Santa Monica district.

Sledgehammer (View Item)

If you're looking to bludgeon your enemies to death, then this weapon is for you. You're going to want one of these if/when you go up against the Gargoyle in the Hollywood district. Luckily, Slater in the Red Spot convenience store sells one.

Tal'mahe'Ra Blade (View Item)

If your character specializes in melee fighting, this is the weapon you're going to want to obtain. Too bad you won't get your hands on one until very late in the game when you reach the enemy-infested rooms of the Hallowbrook Hotel in the Downtown district.

Tire Iron (View Item)

Although it's pretty much the worst weapon in the game, the Tire Iron is easily obtained during the beginning tutorial.

Torch (View Item)

The rarest melee weapon in the game, the Torch can only be found in two places. It can either be looted from Vampire Hunters, if you happen to draw their attention, or from the Tzimisce lair during the Hell at Hotel Hallowbrook quest.

Unarmed (View Item)

I'm a weapon guy, but if you prefer fists, then by all means go for it. Unarmed is especially useful for Gangrels whose Protean discipline can provide them with extremely sharp claws.
