1 - Strahan Runeshadow
Within this room you'll find Strahan Runeshadow, the necromancer causing the problems that both Norochj in the Gathering Dust Bar and the Guardian Spirit in the previous area told you about. Strahan will demand that you provide him with some of your immortal blood, but this will inevitably lead to combat.
Once you've struck Strahan down, loot both his corpse and his podium to the west. When you find his journal, read through it to learn that Strahan was actually awaiting your arrival.
